This is a huge property. 😲 But the campgrounds are small.😦 Of the two, one is half the size of the other. I also feel one is more desireable than the other. The beach one seems to be a better location. The bathhouse is wonderful.Sadly camping spaces at this property are rarely available. Yet there will always be empty ones 🤷🏻‍♂️System does not work efficiently and no one at the state level seems to do anything about it 🤬There are miles of hiking and biking trails. Just biking on the main road in and out is wonderful. It is completely shaded and winding through the woods 😎

Very easy access and an informative self guided tour. The grounds are immaculately taken care of. The gift shop has a well stocked selection of very affordable items. This is a must visit location when visiting Amelia Island.

This place is beautiful. I enjoyed the tranquility, the nature trails (Willow Pond Nature Trail) the grounds, and the views of the fort. The beach stroll was equally delightful. The highlight for me was the stunning wildlife. For the first time in my life, I saw white-tailed deer grazing and enjoying life. I’m happy they have a safe space here. I also saw a big, cute turtle. The beach wasn’t crowded, so I was able to relax, take in the sights, and listen to the water crashing against the rocks. The drive up to the parking lot is amazing too, with a tree canopy covering the entire road.

This park is gorgeous! From towering dunes to ancient oak trees to a historical fort, it is an incredibly diverse location with rich natural resources and broad appeal. As a birder, I was excited to have a variety of preserved habitats. The marshy overlook had great shorebirds and the extensive hardwood canopy was a sure bet for warblers and other passerines. The shoreline was great for seabirds, shorebirds and sharks’ teeth. There is a narrow multi-use path for bicyclists and pedestrians that runs through the park. During our visit, we only used small stretches of the path to access some of the views, but it looked amazing. The only negative is that this place gets packed, and during peak times, closes to new visitors to limit capacity. There seems to be a lot of zippy traffic on the road and I could never figure out why people are in such a hurry when there is so much beauty even on the main road. If you’re in the area and are a nature lover, this should definitely be on your list!

This park is very beautifully well kept amenities and very clean, Have lots of thing to do a well stocked visitor center, bike and walking trails, beach point, 2 campgrounds 1 for primitive camping and also RV camping. We loved it. The fort is stunning with beautifully views to the sound.Is full of Wild life, birds, Manatee, River Otters birds birds birds.Perfect for a weekend get away.

Sublime and relaxing. Canopy of trees with Spanish Moss and Palmetto everywhere. Facilities include bright and clean bathrooms with shower stalls, washers and dryers ($2 per load) The fort is a major draw and the river has sandy beach along its shoreline. Plenty of hiking trails. A bike is a good have as the place is huge.

Very awesome place to visit! All of the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. Great experience for people who love history! When we visited, they were doing some work in a couple of areas but nothing that hindered our touring of the grounds. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!!

Clean restrooms! No driving on the beach not a worry to me. Outdoor showers to rinse off. Plenty of ocean life, seashells and sharks teeth. Places to camp both tent and camper. Trails to walk on! The fort itself is pretty darn cool and great photo spots.6.00 dollars to get in not too bad....worth it to me for clean restrooms! There is a ramp to get on beach but not much after the ramp if there is a wheelchair friend.

Such an amazing piece of history. Well maintained lots of little facts located around the fort great for self exploration. Wonderful walking trails outside the fort and around the beach area. The beach is usually quite and peaceful a great place to find sharks teeth just walking along the shore. The family and I look forward to returning for the history and beach-time fun.

Beautiful Fort. Like walking into a movie set or a novel that has come alive. By that I mean it was set up like the forts in books I have read but have never seen except in my mind. This is not just a single rectangular brick building it’s an entire community inside the walls. The museum has set the rooms up with home goods, and other items in the Quarter Masters Warehouse or store to give a view into living there. The fort was so fascinating with all of the tunnels and stairwells between the inner and outer walls one could imagine protecting it. Say hello to the lone soldier, in full uniform, guarding the fort itself. Tip: bring your water bottle out with you so you can linger longer and look past the cannons to the view of the ocean beyond. The museum itself also has interesting information and artifacts.

My husband and I, always eager for a daytime adventure, found ourselves drawn to Fort Clinch State Park during our stay in Amelia Island. We had driven past it a few times and curiosity got the better of us - a decision we’re now incredibly grateful for. We explored the sleeping quarters, kitchens, latrines, jailhouse, storage areas, and even a store and steelworks. Also several real life artillery and cannons were on display. Each section was an insightful glimpse into the past, making it easy to imagine life during those times. The attention to detail in these demonstrations was remarkable, offering a vivid and educational experience.The most captivating aspect of Fort Clinch is how it immerses you in history. It’s not just about seeing; it’s about feeling the past around you. We spent hours wandering through the grounds, absorbing every detail, and left with a newfound appreciation for the history of the area.Our visit to Fort Clinch has inspired us to plan a camping trip there on our next visit to Amelia Island. I'm not a history buff, but for $2.50/person to enter the fort I figured I'd check it out. I thought it was really neat just to walk around looking at a 150 year old fort, it's a peak into the way others lived long ago and how times sure have changed. It's nearly completely open to walk around wherever you'd like, there's only a few locked doors in the buildings, so it was fun to see what was inside all of the different buildings. I recommend checking it out if you're already going for the beach. Tickets to enter the fort can be purchased in the visitors center, which also has a gift shop inside.I also went to the beach, there's plenty of parking in the lot. I went specifically to find a sharks tooth, and unfortunately could not find one. I did talk to another person which had found several small ones they showed me.

We had a wonderful time viewing thefort, we really enjoyed the state park, and the soldiers there had a full working knowledge of what life would’ve been like. They answered all of our questions. When Guests are in the area visiting with us. We will be taking them up to the fort so they can see it.

I love this place so much. The wooded, moss-covered drive to the fort is breathtaking, and the fort itself is absolutely gorgeous and so well-kept! The history is fascinating, and the views are amazing. Kids and adults alike will enjoy Fort Clinch!

Very beautiful park with different reenactments of key eras in Fl history. Very educational to see the memorabilia, the fort. The views of the beach are beautiful! We stopped to see the fort on our way home from Amelia island and didn’t have time to hike the park, but it looked like a great park for hiking and biking.

A worth place to visit when in Amelia Island. Only $2.50 entry fee. The small museum is great, they even play a movie. A lot to see. The shop also has a wide variety of things as well.

Wonderful time visiting this fort with our family. Highly recommend this historical site for a visit as the views overlooking the ocean is amazing. Lots of artifacts and history to see and learn.

Had an absolute blast visiting here. The drive from the entrance to the Fort was an absolute beautiful path through what felt like untouched woods. The staff and the volunteers at the Fort were friendly, informative, and fun. Views were beautiful and the history was interesting.

Interesting and inexpensive way to spend a few hours in the area! Park entry was $6 with two adults in the car and fort entry for us both was $5 total. Lots of natural beauty to explore and plenty of coastline to hunt shark teeth!

Great zoo! We brought our 4 year old and she had a blast. We saw the whole zoo, and all walkable (We actually took the train to the end and walked back). Getting to feed the giraffe was a huge hit! Do not miss!

Colors of the wild was amazing. Way better than the normal zoo lights. Great for any age. The zoo signed a 3 year contract so its coming back the next 2 years. Its a separate ticket from the regular zoo ticket but worth it.

Came to visit family for a couple days, looked for something local to do and Jacksonville Zoo was a suggestion. Great zoo, nice exhibits, animals look well cared for. Staff is very helpful and friendly. AJ the giraffe was our favorite and we got to feed him. Price point is fair, plenty to see for your big and little kids.

My zoo experience was great. The parking was free. It was really cool to see the giraffe so close! Some people were able to feed the giraffe. The zoo has a splash pad and other kid activities. You can pet the sting rays. Some areas are air conditioned which is fantastic especially in the Florida heat. We ended up getting our tickets online prior to our arrival.

4.5 stars. Lots of exhibits currently under renovation, and they are currently building a manatee rescue center. A good variety of animals. Lots of walking. Plan to stay at least 3-4 hours to see most of the park. We loved the train that constantly circles the park. If you need to buy water, know it’s about 5$ a bottle, but there are fountains to fill your own near the bathrooms. Was most impressed by the plants and landscaping, it’s like the whole park is inside a garden; during late July everything was blooming and very beautiful. They encourage you to buy tickets online before you even enter the park and this does make entry nearly seamless if you can have your bar code ready on your phone.

There’s so many great things to say about Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. This is a wonderful place that the entire family will love, it’s also great for dates or some alone time. All of the exhibits are easily accessible for all. With restaurants and refreshment stands throughout the park, you could easily spend the entire day enjoying the zoo. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It’s best to purchase your tickets in advance, and you have 60 days to use the tickets after your purchase day.

Such a beautiful zoo! So much more than just the animals (which are amazing too). Take your time not only to check out all the animals but to enjoy the gardens. It's a nit of a walk to the tiger area but so worth it! If you get tired you can always sit on one of the many benches around the zoo.

I have to say this was a nice surprise. We decided to try to get in as soon as the park opened, this was a good thing since it was nice and cool out we got to see the cats during their feeding time so they were out and about. I definitely recommend going early. Such a beautiful layout and they’ve done a really nice job with this Zoo!!

I chaperoned a trip to the zoo Summer ‘24. There was a bit of confusion in the beginning as I didn’t know you needed to pre-purchase entry tickets. It was a pleasant day with some rain. Most of the animals were out for viewing and the zoo guides were friendly and resourceful. They have a playground area for kids and plenty of benches to sit if you need a break from all the walking. The gift shop had a variety of items to purchase that weren’t too expensive. Overall, it was a nice experience. They seem to be stewarding the animals well ☀️

Nice zoo. Visited it on my way to Miami mostly because of the great giraffe overlook they have and wasn't disappointed. The "Colors of the Wild" exhibit is great, plants and animal figures are installed all over the Zoo and they look amazing! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to enjoy them in the dark, it must be spectacular.

The zoo is very clean and tidy. The train goes all the way to the back for a stop and then back to the entrance. We recommend starting with the land of the tiger and then slowly walking forward. There are many paths leading off from the main path to the attractions/animals. There are drink and food stands everywhere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The 4D cinema was interesting and the images of the animals were amazing.

This was such a nice zoo! All the animal enclosures were well maintained and all of the animals looked to be very healthy and happy. It's a smaller zoo than I would have imagined but it's still a good place to spend time at. I think we were there for about 4hrs.From what I was told you have to buy tickets online in advance. Unless you are buying discounted tickets for say military then you would buy them at the customer relations counter.Overall it was a great experience.

A wonderful zoo. It has a large and interesting layout based on different parts of the world. Even in the heat the animals were taken well care of and seemed sleepy but happy. A great range of different mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. They have different fun building and exhibits that you can take a break in for air conditioning. There are also water bottle refill stations near every bathroom which was nice. Would definitely recommend starting your day closer to when the zoo opens.

This Zoo is huge. The train ride was beautiful and so much fun! Also very informative. There are 2 places to get on and off. Me and my family spent almost 6 hours here, that was getting to see everything and eat. So it will make a day full. You can get closer to the animals than any zoo I have been too. It was really neat. I would say order your tickets online! I'm so glad we did. Also get the Total Experience! It is so worth it!

Jacksonville Zoo Color of the Wild was amazing!!! A must see for all ages. As you walk the zoo grounds, you will encounter the most incredible lantern displays. From veggies, to butterfly, to safari animal to under the sea, to enchanting Japanese dragons. INCREDIBLE!!!! Probably took about an hour forty five to walk. Wheel chair stroller accessible. Children area to explore and food and shopping. Starbucks at entry. Clean bathrooms throughout. Plenty of parking and attendants kept great flow bringing guest in and out. You can purchase ticket in advance on line. Check weather and dress accordingly.

We love our zoo! I have grown up with the Jacksonville Zoo and have probably visited 100 times at least. As an adult with a family of my own I’ve had a zoo membership for many years. My family loves visiting, and we always see new things! The exhibits are ever changing, the gardens/plant life are gorgeous, and there’s so much to do. My kids love the kid area with mazes, a petting zoo, splash park, and playground. We also love to visit during the year round special events that the zoo hosts.The only thing I wish was different was the ability to pay for different things like Stingray Bay, train, feeding giraffes, carousel, etc. We don’t always want to pay for the total experience. We miss the days of paying a few dollars for each, but we understand that the zoo is also a business working to pay for conservation efforts.If you visit Jacksonville or NE Florida our zoo is worth stopping at. You could easily spend the day exploring there, and I promise your kids will love it!

Absolutely in love with the Jacksonville zoo! I was very impressed how the zoo was set up and the many exhibits that were there. Most all the animals were out and playing. I arrived at 9am on a Saturday (perfect weather kind of day) and I didn’t feel over crowded at the exhibits. Due to being military, we waiting in line for tickets, but the line to get in was not bad! They did offer extras to do but we didn’t stay long enough. It was a great “leg stretcher” after being in the car for a long road trip. We left by 11:15 and the parking lot was definitely full. I did love the vendors in the zoo! One of the vendors took phenomenal pictures of animals and sells them! They are affordable and great quality too! I really recommend this zoo and if we are back in the area, we are definitely going back !! The jaguars were definitely our favorite as well as the penguins!

An absolutely amazing way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The animals are so beautiful and the reserve clearly takes great care of them. 5 stars will highly recommend to everyone. The pics are from their website and emails. They don’t let you take pics of your own but don’t let that stop you from going. Just enjoy the moment.

What a beautiful intimate reserve. The relationship and respect the staff has with the animals is amazing to watch! Took a group of residents on a private tour and it was awesome. Will be 100% retiring with the family. Water front tiger condos LOVE IT

Today we visited the wild animal sanctuary in Saint Augustine, and it was an extraordinary experience despite a few sprinkles and warm weather. The slightly cooler conditions made it quite enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting this sanctuary; it will not disappoint.We arrived a bit early for the $60 Friday tour, which we decided to treat ourselves to for our anniversary. All the money goes towards feeding, housing, and providing excellent care for the animals. It was heartwarming to know our contributions would help.Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. Marty was the first person we met, and she, along with Steve, served as our tour guides. The sanctuary boasts a magnificent variety of animals, including lions, white tigers, wolves, hyenas, and Galapagos turtles. Seeing these stunning animals up close in safe conditions was awe-inspiring.What stood out the most was the love, care, and extensive knowledge that Marty, Steve, and the many dedicated volunteers have for each animal. They knew detailed histories, species information, and unique characteristics of the animals they care for.We had so much fun with Marty as our guide, and we will definitely be back. Up close experience with numerous jaguars, tigers, lions and other exotic animals. Great explanations of the animals and well laid out small park. Great activity for any type of vacation. You must book the tour ahead of time as there are set times to visit.

Incredible experience. Fantastic tour and guides. The caretakers treat the animals with kindness and respect. The homes for the animals are well designed and large. The animals look very healthy and well fed. I’ll return there many times.

Our family are not supporters of Zoos or animals used for entertainment in captivity or breeding for entertainment & not release & so on. So when I heard of this place I am always skeptical. though they are not GFAS accredited, which is #1 for a real sanctuary ..it holds them to high ethical standards , I did decide to take our family. I know way back they took in movie retired animals. I felt this was an ethical sanctuary. They do not breed to sell, they do take in some from breeders who dont want them, which is terribly sad, but this place is a sanctuary and they care for them the best they can. Though I did feel a lot of enclosures were too small for some, I genuinely believe they are well cared for. The staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating. I felt they genuinely loved these animals and I was relieved and also very glad I came. Our kids never saw a tiger , bear or lion up close. The animals they had were amazing & I'm glad we were able to experience their beauty, even though they are locked up. They offered cold water and a golf cart on the tour for folks who got overheated or needed to rest. They do not allow photos which sucks, but glad animals don't have to have cameras in their faces, bad enough we come, glad no pictures. It was an amazing experience and I hope folks support their efforts.

Such an amazing place. Tons of different animals. All private tours and not overly crowded. Price is perfect. Non-profit and everyone is well taken care of. The keepers and volunteers obviously believe in the mission and have great friendly interactions. Amazing enclosures. Will definitely be back. And love the newsletters we get now that we’re back home!

A great experience. The guides took their time and offered a lot of background information for each animal we saw. Listening to the lions communicate with each other was remarkable. I've never heard anything like it. The work being done to offer these animals sanctuary after a hard start to life is admirable. You can see that these animals are loved and well cared for. Highly recommend, and encourage anyone visiting to consider bringing donations (a list of useful/needed items can be found on their website)

You can tell this is all about the animals. The tour guides are knowledgeable and clearly have a close relationship with the animals. The animals are all spoiled rotten and living their best life. Teddy the bear and his love of peppermints is the most adorable thing. <3

This is a must do! The tour guides are so knowledgeable and you can see their heart for the animals immediately. Was an amazing experience so close to the the animals! You have to put away your phones once entering the gates, but it helped keep our focus on the animals. It was incredible just seeing and hearing the roars/ purs/ howls and everything in between. Posting pictures of the entrance with birds before the cat exhibits.

I hate zoos and I like this because it’s a proper reserve. The animals are active and seem happy. The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. The tour is more like a well oiled machine vs your average guided tour. While we didn’t have young children with us, I would hesitate to recommend taking your kids along. The staff have your safety in mind and that’s evident. The big cats are incredible. Some of the most beautiful animals I’ve ever seen in person.

Loved this wonderful reserve from the minute we walked in and heard the lions roaring. The people that care for the animals are amazing and all of the animals were so beautiful. I will definitely be back.

A special place, exceptional people, an amazing experience. You are so close to lions, tigers , panthers.. like no where else that i have been.. the staff interacts with the animals. You see their personalities. These animals are loved. It is a staff of mostly volunteers. These carnivores are all rescues. I love this place

What an amazing experience!!! The people that work there have strong bonds with all the animals. The grounds are well maintained. Each animal has a story and a safe place to call home. Perfect tour for all ages. They provided a golf cart if someone needed it for any or all of the tour.Thank all of you for your devotion!

This was an awesome experience!! You can see how much the volunteers enjoy their jobs and care about the animals. You are able to see the animals up close and they interact with the volunteers. We had a large family reunion there and we all enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend it.

This was such as awesome adventure. The anaimals are amazing and one can get pretty close to these wonderfully huge cats! They also have wolves, a bear, and even hyenas, and more. I fully recommend going and taking the tour. And the staff is great too! Thx for a wonderful day.

The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is located in St. Augustine. You do have to pay for parking and it's been extremely packed all the years we've been. Kids are free (under 16 maybe?)There is a parking garage on another street that was $20, so make sure you walk around and enjoy all the shops and restaurants while you're here. It's a very scenic area and amazing to take a step back in time. You will also find two churches, the governors house, the first school house as well as some museums you can pay to go to.

What an amazing piece of history! It is absolutely worth the visit. I recommend bringing the kids to so they can learn some history but also come alone because you can read all the info posted throughput the fort because you realize all this historic time capsule has been through. I am amazed every time I visit this place that it is open to the public and you can walk through such an incredible time capsule.

Enjoyed our visit to this Spanish fortress. Such a rich history and taking the self guided tour allowed you to read about each room and about the fortress itself. Not only rich in historical significance, but in its beauty as well. If visiting St Augustine, then this is a must stop, then walk across the street to walk the shops and restaurants of the old city. We went during a holiday weekend, so was crowded, but not overwhelming. The parking at the fortress is rather small, so parking is at a premium. You may have to find alternate parking nearby or even take the trolley and not worry about parking.

This is a beautiful national park with lots of history. Park Rangers were very friendly and informative. Kids were having fun doing Jr. Ranger activities. The cannon demonstration in full dress at 3:30 is a must see!

The lot is usually full at the Castillo.Historic St. Augustine is beautiful! Lots of good places to eat! There are Art galleries and niche shops to check out. Really good vibes!

This Castillo de San Marcos National park/Monument can get very crowded. You will want to arrive early. The parking lot is very small. There is plenty of parking further away where there's a tram that goes to the fort.Admission is per person and reasonable. If you are a senior (62+) opt for the lifetime pass. You can then go into any US national park and bring up to 3 guests at no additional cost.The fort itself isn't huge. You can easily see it all in 1 hour. They do fire off the cannons at specified times but it doesn't look like they do that early.The small lot is not free. You pay by plate at a kiosk or by an app.

Love visiting here! There is so much history and overall great experience. You can sense what it must have been like to be a soldier serving here, especially when you see the living spaces and tour the top area where the cannons are. Here is a helpful tidbit, if you are a veteran, go to the ticket booth, bring your ID that shows proof and you can have free access for LIFE to the fort and you can bring up to three guests with you and they are free too! It is a national pass you can use here as well as to other national monuments and parks and such! This fort is also located right across the street from the Pirate Museum, local parking garage, and lots of restaurants. It's totally worth the visit coming to this area!

They were closing up when we got there but it was still pretty cool. It was a lot like Fort Independence in Boston so a lot cooler if you haven’t seen forts before. The grounds were very nice and people seemed to really enjoy the surrounding area as well. You can walk around the outside for free or get tickets and go in.

It is nice to see real castle in St Augustine, Florida. They perform cannon shots to make it real castle in history. Performers have historical Spanish military uniforms. View from castle is awesome. You can walk around the castle. But you need to get ticket to get in the castle. There is a parking place next to it. But it is hard to find spot. You can try St Augustine city parking place close by.

Worth the entrance fee to see the well-maintained fort and wander through the grounds. Lots of interpretive displays and scheduled ranger lectures. Its relatively small, but really well preserved.Parking is limited near the fort and is pay-to-park.

I really enjoyed the walk through the fort and around it. I app the time I spent taking with the park volunteers and learning about the many years of history they are associated with the first and the surrounding area. If you haven't visited the fort I would recommend you taking it in. It doesn't take a long time to walk through it and the grounds. There are monument volunteers ready to help with any question you might have. I found them very knowledgeable and helpful as well.

Great educational experience although the heat can shorten your visit. The view is beautiful and it's set up to see how it looked when they 1st came here. Cheaper to buy a national family pass if you have multiple kids 16 or older.

Incredible history and reenactments here. I’ve been coming here for 35 years and there’s always something new and enjoyable every time I get to explore this fort. This time we were able to catch the reenactment on top where they fired off a cannon. It was so cool to imagine what this looked like centuries ago. The deep history here is truly amazing. Any chance we could get in on one of the guides talking about different parts of the history it was great! I am also amazed there is nothing keeping people from falling off the top, lol!

It's a great place to go see while at St. Augustine. There are entry fees, but they are not excessive. It has a souvenir shop and bathrooms, and most of the Fort is open to viewing. You can explore the inside and outside, walk around the moat, go upstairs, and look at the cannons and guard posts. Placards provide historical details and events.

My family had a great time! You can tour the fort at your own pace, there is a lot to see. There are many rooms to go into with signs explaining the history and significance of what you're looking at. It was an overcast September day when we went but it was still very hot in the rooms so bring water! We went on a weekday around 11am and there was plenty of parking, but by the time we left around 12:30pm there wasn't a single parking spot left, so I would recommend getting here early. Parking is pay by plate and is $2.50/hr. The cost for adults to enter the fort is $15 and kids under 16 are free! The grounds were wheelchair/ stroller friendly unless you want to go up to the top of the fort and walk around, which I recommend if you're able to. We left our stroller at the bottom of the stairs and it was safe while we explored.

What a wonderful National Treasure! The Castillo de San Marcos stands as a testament to the fortitude of the Spanish soldiers and their families who could have easily given up in this military outpost but stood their ground and spent 23 years building this magnificent fort.The coquina blocks have withstood the test of time and held together well against the sieges by the attacking forces. I first visited this fort when I was 9 years old on a 4th grade field trip and this visit inspired my passion for learning about history. Since then I have enjoyed a 36 year career as a professional tour guide and storyteller educating elementary school students and their families on tours in St. Augustine and around the country.

We walked the exterior perimeter of this fort. Very interesting fort to walk around. We did not go inside as it was 100° outside and we had seen enough artifacts in our past. Our walk outside was well worth it. I am sure the interior was equally as fascinating.

Nice historical fort. $15 per adult seems a little high compared to other parks. You can easily explore the fort in 45 minutes.The Powder Room is a cool spot but be prepared to squat down to get through the low passage.Parking for 2 hours was $5.00 and expired time was being enforced while we were there.If you found this review helpful, please like and follow for more random travels!

Amazing street! There are a lot of fun things to do here. We visited some stores and museums, we ate pizza and ice cream.It is a very picturesque street and has some nice spots for pictures. There are public restrooms along the street.They have a great variety of restaurants, but we tried the pizza at Pizza Time. This is a great place to visit.

Food, shopping, churches, cathedrals, courtyards, and squares. There's something for everyone here in this fascinating and historical street.

There are many shops to walk through. So many shops have jewelry, souvenirs, candy and sweets. There are several places to eat too.This is near the old gate to the city. The pirate museum is nearby, and across the street is Castillo de San Marcos fort. Also, Bridge of Lions is nearby and will take you over to Anastasia Island, where you can visit the lighthouse and the Alligator Farm.

The landlord of many units on the street cut down every tree on every one of his properties. My particular unit has absolutely no escape from the sun, or no shade around whatsoever.

My wife and I went to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary and we absolutely loved the experience we had. We did both the free tour and the Perfect Pairing experience. The Perfect experience was and absolute awesome time. It got my wife to like bourbon, and the truffles that paired with them were outstanding. I love the fact that the distillery is local and that they used a local confectionery shop to do their tasting. My wife and I look forward to going back again!

The St. Augustine Distillery Spirit of Florida Bourbon Experience was Excellent! We went on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail last year and saw some great distilleries but having this quaint and beautiful distillery in our own state of Florida is fantastic. Melody was our host and tour guide and was very knowledgeable about everything Bourbon related especially when it came to the distilling process. We tasted 4 of their different bourbons and enjoyed each one. The "Saint" was our personal favorite because we love old fashioneds so much. Finishing off this bourbon in a barrel of their own old fashioned mix was truly an amazing idea! We bought 2 bottles of Saint, but know that this was not an inexpensive bottle at $200. (we did get a $35 off coupon for the tasting tour). The tour of this small distillery was informative and fun with Melody showing us the complete process. Of course the gift shop was the last stop and we took advantage of more Bourbon tasting with their version of an old fashioned. We had not been to this distillery since they added bourbons and only knew them from their vodka, rum and gin but were VERY pleased they have added these delicious bourbons to their line of spirits. A Wonderful Experience and Must See if you are here in St. Augustine!

The staff was so welcoming to my husband and I. We only wanted to taste the bourbon honey and syrup, since we don’t drink alcohol. They allowed us to do the tour at no cost which was pretty cool on their end. Even though my husband and I don’t drink, learning about how the bourbon is created was pretty interesting. The lady at the counter allowed us to taste the honey and syrup. Woohoo, that was the best honey and syrup I ever tasted. We purchased the syrup and will buy more online if they have it available.

The coolest tasting and educational experience ever! This was my first introduction to bourbon and woooooweeeee I sure felt it! Sarah was a wonderful educator and very informative about the history and process of distillation. The gift shop at the end of our tour had many great items to purchase! Since our arrival for the tour was early, we decided to have a glass from their bar upstairs. Another cool place in the establishment!

We have gone to this distillery several times and love visiting here. When you do the tour, they give the under age ones a delightful grape juice. They have a great rooftop top bar that's very romantic for a date.

Had a great time at our guided tour yesterday. Clark was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had, not just for a distillery but of any excursion or activity I’ve done. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate which made the tour just that much better. Highly recommend the paid tour for everyone. Highlight of our trip to St. Augustine and my wife and I come here once per year for a weekend for the past 5 years. Oh and all the bourbon we tasted were absolutely amazing. Florida Man Approved! Usually I wait until the end, but this local distillery needs no hype. Great tour and gift shop with everything you would never need to drink, wear, make drinks, cups, trinkets and so much more! Been a loyal customer since day one! I have every bottle of the port distilled discovery series rum 1-4! It’s the focal point of my liquor cabinet! You can sample almost anything they carry at the in store tasting stations! Today Danny Rodrigues was there signing his first day of issue series 4 over proof rum! Great guy and a tasty rum! They host many first day of release events with the distiller. I have a nice collection of signed bottles! Definitely a must see if you are a tourist in town or a local like myself. Bring a little bottle of Saint Augustine home with you! Double Florida Man Approved!!

We love to take visitors to the distillery. We brought our guests to the perfect pair tasting experience and had a great experience. Clark, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Everyone had a great time. We proceeded to the gift shop for additional tastings and souvenirs, every employee we came in contact with was very knowledgeable and you could tell that they loved their jobs. A decent distillery in St Augustine.We came to check them out and were really excited to do a tasting and check out their stuff. Someone in our group did the tour years ago and said it was great.This time there was no tour and the tasting was lame. As someone in our group said to the person who said it used to be great "glad I didn't have to pay for it or I'd want my money back"There were a few mixers to try and you could look at their room where they explain how it's made. You don't actually get to taste their stuff and get information about anything worthwhile.If you have little to no experience or expectations for how it's made you might enjoy it, but as we have been to distilleries all over the world there wasn't enough going on to be worth the trip.The staff were super friendly and they have a nice bar upstairs, but you can drink elsewhere for cheaper with a better variety.Still, a decent place.

Did the pairing tour with friends and had a tremendous time! 👍 Our bourbon ambassador taught us the "ABC's" of bourbon and we experienced some excellent chocolate 🍫 truffles to pair. Enjoyed apps and drinks at the Ice Plant thereafter and it was all fantastic 👌 Highly recommend both the distillery tour and the restaurant/bar thereafter!

Wonderful day in St. Augustine with a stop at the distillery! Loved seeing how the alcohol is made and doing the tasting. While the tour was self guided and the tastes were small, it was all about the experience! Each stop had a small amount of alcohol combined with one of their cane sugar based mixers. All unique flavors and wonderful new tastes. The tour wrapped up in the store and Emily was a great server with a wonderful personality at the last stop! Give her kudos for a great time and a lot of knowledge!

This is a small craft distillery that has only been in operation since 2014. You can do a self guided tour that is free and includes 4 tastings of mixed drinks like a mule. They also offer guided tours for a fee. The advantage of the guided tour is its bourbon forward, you hear the history of the building and the business, and you get to try a pour of two expensive bottles. We have been to 12 other distillery tours and I still learned a few new things. Larry was a fantastic host! We got to sample their flagship bourbon, one finished in a wine barrel, an aged blend, and a single barrel. We also got the keep the glasses! I believe a person in a wheelchair could do this tour because you only move from the tasting room to the adjacent room. We enjoyed our experience!

Had an incredible time learning more about the history of bourbon and the process of making it. I love that st augustine distillery gets so much of its product from local farms and is community centered, truly a model for businesses everywhere in this wonderful city. This location is beautiful! A must stop to visit and explore if you are in the area. The staff great and very knowledgeable. Nice free little boat ride to the fort across the river. The fort is small but it's still impressive to see and learn about the history of it. You can walk around and inside. They even let you climb to the roof top where you get to see some amazing views! I highly recommend! No charge for parking or the fort visit.

What a great stop. Age 15 and under are free. $14.95 for those 16+. Lots to do to spend an afternoon walking around. Cannot imagine having to man this fort in August back in the days of use. It was an amazing site to see.

Pleasant morning at Fort Mantanzas.Pro Tip - Get there early to reserve your Ferry ticket. They are free but run out quickly. I got there are the park opened and got the first ticket. 20 minutes in and the tickets for the first three ferry’s were gone. There is no restroom on the ferry or once you get for the island, go before you leave VC.Since there are plenty of photos of the site I wanted to include signage and info.A must see sight for all.

This free tour was so informative and so much fun. We arrived at 10:10 and got tickets for the 10:30 tour. You are able to talk down to the water while you wait on the boat. Our national park guides were so lovely. The fort is beautiful and the boat ride to and from were good.

I had an exceptional visit to Fort Matanzas National Monument! The fort itself is a fascinating glimpse into America's past, and the live history presentations truly bring the era to life. Ranger Steve, in particular, gave an outstanding presentation, delivering detailed insights with enthusiasm and clarity. The ranger's knowledge and passion for the subject were evident and made the experience even more engaging. Loved it! We didn't realize the ferry goes only once per hour on the :30, so we showed up 5 mins before. We went to the office and they only had 1 ticket left. So, we were bunmed and walked toward the water, and the ranger there asked his buddy in the boat if there was room for 2 more. He said yes!!! Thanks, Rangers!Ferry ride was 5 mins, and the fort, though small, was really cool! If you're physically able, I'd suggest climbing up the ladder and going on the top of the fort. Nice views and fun! It's a 45-min round trip excursion and I thought it was great!

Great experience! Make sure to check ferry times before heading that way. The good news is there is a great boardwalk nature trail while waiting for the ferry. It's completely free and such a cool historical fort.

Interesting place to visit and get a stamp for the National Park passport. I forgot the captain's name but him and Morgan was wonderful! They allowed me to board an hour early since I was visiting alone. The fort is full of history and made you think about what it was like 100 years ago when it was created and while it was being used.

The fort was interesting. The only way to get there is by ferry. I was a little disappointed in that there are no trails on Rattlesnake Island (where the fort is). There is a trail on the visitor center side of the Matanzas River but it’s pretty short and not a whole lot to look at. The rangers were really nice and provided a lot of information.

The weather was perfect the day we went. There is a free boat ride to the monument. My kids enjoyed the boat ride & climbing all over the little fortress.

Tour was cut a little short due to rain, however my sons and I had a blast. Great tour guides, nice ferry ride (free), really cool spot. Hearing the history of the fort and how it relates to Fort Castilla. Highly recommend the trip. Then walk out to the sand bar by the bridge when your done to cool down!

Beautiful and historic free park - really friendly, helpful staff and knowledgeable rangers!The short boat ride and tour of the fort are quick, so don’t worry if you don’t have a whole day to spend here - you could do it all in under 2 hours. There’s also a short nature trail to Matanzas Inlet - another free, cool spot nearby.We also saw some dolphins and typical cool Florida birds. Oh, and a lot of jellyfish actually.Tip: get your tickets early even if you want to do to the tour later - it’s not uncommon for all tickets to be given out by the middle of the day.Great time - we’ll be back.

Awesome little piece of history in St. Augustin. My family and I take the boat to Fort Matanzas everything we visit and enjoy taking photos, learning, the history, and climbing to the roof on the little ladder. Also it's totally free! The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful visit to Fort Matanzas! We arrived around 12 on a Thursday and were able to get tickets for the 12:30 boat ride over to the fort (tickets are free for the boat and there’s no entrance fee to the park!). Our 4 kids were able to do activities in an activity book they gave us and earn badges. The rangers were very informative; Ranger Steve is an absolute gem! We saw dolphins and sea turtles from the fort and boat. We were so glad we made this stop!

I can’t say enough about this park, fort and experience, although selfishly I kind of would like to keep it a little secret so that it stays with its charm. I found this place through a video on Tik Tok of things to do in St.Augustine. Most of the locals and people who visit there often had no idea about this place. I had little information on the ferry hours but we drove there hoping they were still running and thankfully we got the last ferry heading out. We got there about 30 mins before the tour started and hung out with the gopher tortoise to pass some time. All of the park staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour guide was the best!

An amazing piece of American (and European) history that few today seem to know about.The fort itself may be small, but the story behind its name, the area where it sits, and what it did looms large.Also enjoy the large amount of wildlife that is easily seen around it while visiting. Take one of the free volunteer guided nature walks to hear more about all the fascinating plant and wildlife nearby.

What a great adventure. Everything was great. From the boat ride to the fort itself, it was so nice and well maintained. And to top it off, Ranger Caroline was just superb. She gave a great presentation with lots of facts and knowledge and did so in an exemplary storytelling fashion. Very entertaining and informative.

I've always loved coming here. One of my favorite places in St. Augustine and a good little hidden gem. Tickets are free and include a beautiful ferry ride to the island. The fort is smaller than Castillo de San Marcos but somehow feels like it has more charm. There is a trail you can walk after. Remember to wear sunscreen and pack a water bottle!

It takes about an hour from start to finish. You start off with a pontoon boat ride over the inlet and have about 45 minutes to check everything out. The first 15 min is historical info about the Fort and our Park Ranger was very informative and very friendly. The tour was free even so you had to get tickets. This is only they have an idea how many people came through.

Save your money not worth it.. unless you bring everything there is nothing to do here. The water is nice and the beach is relatively clean but other than that it's not worth it. It's packed and loud, no shade or any attraction, not really any where to get food. and despite the fact that on the website it says there are designated areas where you can take your dogs there are none and you will get kicked off the beach, after they take your money and let you on it

Been coming here for 40 plus yrs. Still amazed at the size of this beach. It's never crowded, anytime of the day. It's a gradual walk into the water, no drop off. Perfect for kids. Lots of places to stay and eat. The pier is so much fun on a Saturday night.You can't beat this place!

Awesome views with great beaches. Very convenient to drive on beach and park not having to drag coolers, umbrellas, etc.

If you are planning to visit this beach, do not search “Daytona Beach” we got confused as Daytona beach is a city name. You need to search by including “World famous” in it, and it’s for a reason! You can drive in your car around the shore for $20. The beach is very clean and calm. If you have enough time do spend an evening there, you will never get bored of this calmness. We saw all kinds of people having fun, camping, dancing, modeling and making best of their time. There are limited parking outside the entry gate, it’s better to take ticket and drive at the shore. A must go if you are around Orlando

Very clean beach, never crowded and the water is always fun to play in. If you are lucky enough, you can catch dolphins swimming near the shore in the morning.

Daytona beach really surprised me! I loooved getting to spend time in the water and just relaxing. Very chill and family vibes. The sand is white and the water is clear enough for me. I would definitely go again and visit!

The ‘Worlds Most Famous Beach Daytona Beach’ sign is nice and all but really the beach is pretty good and totally worth a visit; don’t just snap the sign and leave. Mostly blue water, light sands and great to see everyone social distancing. waves looked fairly gentle, a lot of fishing and a lot of families having good times in the sun. Beach umbrella rentals doing a roaring trade when I was there.

Love the option to bring my Jeep on to the Beach

I normally avoid this are of Daytona, it is where the party seen is. Although I went today seeing how last minute we decided to go watch the sunrise so we did and then hung around the beach for a few hours. The beach was dirty the people that go there to party unfortunately do not clean up after themselves! There was a man passed out in the sand as well, clearly from the night before and yes I made sure he was alive and gave him some water and he went back to sleep without a care in the world. Do your part and clean up your trash.Otherwise it was a great trip. We enjoyed the sunrise and we spent a couple of hours getting some vitamin D. Kudos to the workers on the beach they where out early picking up the trash and emptying bins doing their best to clean it up so BIG THANKS for that. I would advise going further away from the boardwalk for family’s just my opinion but as always we had a great time.

Driving on the beach is a different experience. But other than that, nothing special about the beach. Very congested place. Unclean beach. No easy access to showers or washrooms. People blasting music with loud speakers and smoking everywhere. Can’t even breathe fresh air at the beach due to the cigarette smell. Jacksonville and St.Augustine beaches are so much better. Daytona is an overhyped place.

This area (experiencing a high rise construction boom) has become run-down, with little variety in cheesy souvenir shops, T-shirt shops and bars predominant. Everywhere we walked we inhaled the secondhand skunky-stink of pot smoking tourists. Ugh. The beach itself was a mess with trash - tossed cups and food rinds littering the sand. Sidewalks are grimy - City of Daytona Beach, you should be ashamed..! Hire people to rake the beaches and use pressure washers on those sidewalks.! Disgusted by the condition - we will never return here..!

Came by to walk the pier and check out the food. The whole beach smells like smoke and garbage. It feels super dirty so you won’t have an appetite. The beach did look like a great spot to play in the sand and had great waves.

Beautiful area! The public beach is a little crowded but if you stay at a condo or hotel on the beach it's absolutely wonderful.

Miles of old worn-down and poorly-aging condominiums dot the highway. The place needs a major face-lift and more recreational and modernized dining options. Some of the high rises are so close to the waterline, it looks like they are about to fall in. In December, this place is a ghost town.

HOURS: The beach is accessible and free for pedestrians and bicyclists 24 hours a day, depending on tides and weather conditions. Driving and parking on the beach is open to vehicles from sunrise to sunset from November 1 through April 30 and from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm (out when the tide comes in) from May 1 through October 31.Parking is $20 a ticket which you can use for the whole day.PROS: You park 25 feet from the waterfront. Aqua ocean views. Mixed demographic, all ages. Bathwater warm water.CONS: Absolutely nothing. We went on the tour a few weeks ago and I would definitely recommend. You get to see every part of the speedway, walk on the track, and sit in the seats, plus the museum is very cool. They give you so much history and information, it’s definitely worth it.

Did the VIP tour and had a great time!! Walter was our guide and did a great job showing us around and sharing the story of Daytona and NASCAR. We got to see the press room, fan zone, research center, and more -- a memorable experience!!

I just happen to be traveling and working in the Daytona Beach area on Bike Week so I decided to shoot across the street from where I was working, to the Daytona Speedway to check out all the vendors and awesome bikes. I commend the event for all of the signage and barricades that they put up. Everything was easy to navigate and there were NO QUESTIONS on where you could and couldn't enter or exit at. It was quite the awesome sight and experience! Everyone I met or spoke to was super cool and approachable. (Yes..even some of the bikers that were a little long in the tooth...they were all awesome people!) Good energy, good vibes, good people, great bikes, great times! Everyone should experience this, even if you don't ride...you'll enjoy it!

We all had an amazing time at the Daytona Race Track!A trolley tour on the race track with friendly staff and an engaging guide really added to the experience. It was a wonderful and memorable trip.The museum was very interesting and the gift shop was great for shirts and souvenirs.

This place was awesome! The views and stops on the tour were great!! However, the lady that gave our tour was mean to several people on the tour and treated all like children who are going to the principal. That’s only reason it’s not a 5 star! We were told about 60 days a year you can get in the track and this was one of those days! It was crazy cool too see what an 18 and 35 degree slope looked like on the track. 18 is a very steep him, 35 would slide you back down.

Went for the Daytona 500 and will for sure go back. Track is huge. Lost of different levels for different views. Seats were honestly not bad. Free wifi was pretty fast to be honest. Really good connection. Bathrooms were clean. Parking is obviously madness but it’s expected with events of that size. Entrance was super easy. 10/10 in my book.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Been coming here 20yrs. The new stadium vs the old is so much nicer! The escalators to the top of level 3 are the best thing ever!!! No more climbing stairs. Plus the fact that you can bring in your own soft side cooler wow what a great way to spend the day watching some racing. Cars, trucks and motorcycles there is always something great to see here. Buying your tickets in advance can certainly save you some money.

My husband and I attended Jeep Beach ⛱️ and camped from Tuesday on ...it's was like "awesomeness π" if there were such a thing!!! I never expected it to be even bigger and better than last year...# such an awesome ride. # see y'all next year!!!

We really enjoyed our tour here. For the price you get a lot for your money. You get to go on a tram tour, our guide was super nice. You visit the track, the stands, the winner circle area, and the wonderful museum. I highly recommend it!

Booking the VIP tour was well worth the price. Drove around on an air conditioned bus with free chilled water, got to see the archives, track, start/finish line, victory lane, and also in the floors and top floor of the large glass structure in the Center of the stands, which is perfect for photo opportunities. Would definitely recommend.

Jeep Week 2024 was another awesome event for the books. The weather was Florida breezy and awesomely sunny! The vendor freebies (ducks, bags, Monster drinks and stickers) were plenty, and food truck ally was diverse in way of food amd beverage options.We had a great view of the Jeep obstacle course by actually sitting on the track at the turn against the wall (see photo).We can't wait for next year's Jeep Week!!

Pretty iconic venue for anything motorized.From the auto shows to the races.Lots of parking. The outdoor bathrooms need better servicing. Like overflowing toilets, wet floors, and no toilet paper at 10:00am (event start time).Things could be improved, but it does it's job fine.

Attended the Daytona 500 in 2023. Probably one of the coolest events I’ve been to recently. We got passes that allowed us to show up early and attend concerts and other venues in the infield before the race. Tons of food and drinks along with plenty of music and experience to last a lifetime. Parking on race day definitely sucks though. I recommend finding a different option for getting to and from the event. Tons of bathrooms and food once the race started. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the stadium either.

This racetrack was much bigger than I thought the pictures don’t even give it justice! I was supposed to attend the Daytona 500 this year but because of the rain they had to postpone it till the following Monday so I had to go home. However, even though the Xfinity race and the Daytona 500 race was postponed because of the rain, I still enjoyed my time and got to see race cars up close and got to see how they land in their positions. It was an awesome experience. Will come again when the weather gets better.

We love the tour. It was interesting and entertaining. I learned so much and lots of pictures opportunities. The museum was also great.The train ride takes may be 1 hour, and there are spots you can go down to explore, take some pictures 📸 .The museum and souvenir shop are until 5 pm.The tickets vary in what tour,race, events, or experience. We just got the regular tour one, which is about less than $30.We enjoyed our visit.Hopefully, we will experience the race 🏁 next time.

Going on the track is a good experience. You cannot imagine the angles of the slope that these car are going. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared great stories. The small museum is also very nice.

Just did a tour not a race unfortunately. I recommend the higher priced tour experience. You will see a lot more, right up to being on the roof. There's a lot of history here and it's very incredible. Even the track itself, how steep the grade is.

The show is spectacular. If you are not an American try to get your first ever tickets for the race and get good says. You will not regret. We were on Coke Zero 400 and woul do it again for sure.

We took the guided tour and I highly recommend it. Our guide was such a delight. She truly loved the place and gave us so much detail on the planning and history of both the house and the Stetson family. Plus her descriptive narrative was riddled with humor which kept us interested and made the tour more pleasurable. The 10 decorated rooms were amazing. Each room had a different theme from the others and from years past. We were delightfully impressed and I believe will make this tour an annual Christmas tradition.

A must see! Beautiful house. They still had holiday deco up so I want to see it without all of the decorations to get the real feel of the house and architecture. It was tastefully done though.

Visiting the Stetson is always a treat, but especially at Christmas to see JT's talent on display! Beautiful decor highlights the historic home & is a joy. We took the guided tour & were treated to a heartfelt story from JT in the dining room about what Christmas meant to him & his family. Our guide for the rest of the home was knowledgeable & entertaining. Photos aren't allowed inside, but trust me when I say you won't be disappointed!! It's a sight to experience 🎄

We visited the Stetson Mansion today for the Christmas Spectacular Holiday Home Tour and it was fantastic! Highly recommend the guided tour with JoAnn to learn more about the decorations and a little history about the house. Her infectious personality and storytelling made our visit even more enjoyable.Each and every room, even the kitchen and bathrooms have a dedicated theme. The attention to detail and the creativity behind each room is truly amazing. I especially loved all the inspirational sayings sprinkled throughout the house. Definitely a must visit and our family will surely make this an annual holiday tradition.

Fabulous Christmas decor and a surprise pop-in by JT the owner who does all the decorating. Try to go to the 7:00 p.m. guided tour as it is special. Each room has its own decor starting with angels and cardinals in the Grand Staircase in the entry, Department 56 layered on a tiered tree, Snobabies filling up a bedroom and the kitchen dedicated to military heroes, just to name a few of the rooms. Such a beautiful sight it is still racing through my mind two days later. A must tour in the central Florida area as it is also one of Florida's most historical homes and the first to have electricity installed by Thomas Edison himself.

An amazing beautiful home with the most wonderful Christmas decorations anyone could imagine. It’s said that it takes 3 months to decorate the home and the passion and love shows.The only downside is that there is no photography allowed inside the home.

My sister and I took our mother as a Christmas present. She absolutely loved it, she had to use her walker to get around. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful getting her though it because we had to take our time to get her through. We would recommend it anytime.

The Proprietor spent 3 months decorating this home in a Christmas theme. Each room was intricately decorated, and we participated in a delightful guided tour. The Proprietor himself even came to visit and gave us some heartwarming background stories about the mansion and some of the decorations. Southern Hospitality at its best--when I had to take a break from walking and standing, the other Proprietor brought me a picture book of the mansion rooms, and I was able to scan the QR code to get my very own audio tour while sitting comfortably on the beautiful front porch. :) Truly a stunning home!

Absolutely Amazing tour of this beautifully restored mansion, but to personally see the amount of Christmas creations strategically & thoughtfully placed in each room, nook & cranny was such a treat! It's a highly recommended must visit, & we plan on coming back again to experience the artistic joy w/ our visiting family. Great surprise!

It's expensive, but we really wanted to go to see the over-the-top Christmas decorations that this place is known for. We signed up online a couple weeks ago and paid then. Yesterday, the day before our visit, we received an email that revealed some things about our visit, set for today. It recommended using restrooms off property before arriving. The mansion's only restroom facility the public could use was a portable outdoor unit out in the parking lot. The other thing the email warned against was arriving more than 20 minutes early. It said parking was limited and the gates would only be opened at certain times. This was not an issue as we were early and parked easily and without hassle. We assembled briefly on the porch and started touring the inside of the mansion. Photos were prohibited inside (also stated in the email). We moved from room to room on the mansion's first and second floors as we listened to the tour's audio on our phones, which were browsed a lnk provided in that email. The audio program was the owner's own narration of the decorating job that he took the past 3 months doing himself. We thought the decorations were spectacular and captured both the Christmas spirit and the Stetson family history. Also there was a nice patriotic salute to servicemen near the end. It was all so well done and made us glad we visited the "mansion that hats built" today.

We came to the mansion because it was on a haunted house list. When we arrived the house was locked but the gate was open. There was a sign outside that says scan for self-guided tour. We went to the door to see if it was unlocked and it was locked. We walked around the house a bit and found a staff member. Explain to her that we were interested in seeing the inside of the house because it was on a haunted tour list. She was not happy that it was on a haunted house list and did not seem very friendly with us. She didn't explain that the self-guided tour was the Christmas tour and was $35 per adult and $20 for children. We felt that was a bit high. We took some pictures on the outside and when we went to leave she had locked us inside the property by closing the gate up and locking it. The staff member came to the gate to unlock it for us because we were sitting in front of it and there were people outside trying to come in for the tour. I think this property could be ran better than how it is being run.Follow us for more great reviews ™

We visited the Stetson Mansion during their Christmas Spectular, and it was beautifully decorated. The combination of the Mansions history, its restoration, and the Christmas decorations was awe-inspiring. The word Spectacular only comes close to describing what was experienced. This is a must-see!!

I have taken both the Xmas guided tour and the Historical tour. The Xmas tour is fun for those who enjoy decor. It’s very thought out with a lot of fun items to find. There are always different themes each year. But the best tour in my opinion is the Historical tour which is sadly coming to an end in a couple of weeks.The Historical tour takes you through the by history of the Stetson family, interesting facts about the home, and a discussion about his work as a hatter. Our most recent tour guide, Jo Ann, did an amazing job taking us from room to room and answering every question that the group had. At the end of the tour we purchased both books to take home and continue learning about the history of such an amazing home.The only downside of the tour is that you cannot take photos inside, but being that this is a private residence, and is only funded by tours, it is understandably why they ask for privacy.

It is a fantastic place to bring kids and family out for family activities like picnics while enjoying God's beautiful creation. It was ONLY $6 per car at the entrance. They have a gift shop and a Kayak for rent if you like to roll around the lake. Beautiful area! 🥰❤️

Arrived before manatee season and got lucky to see one (did not realize they were migratory). This was right after hurricane Milton as well, so no watercraft were allowed or tours. Water was clear and got some good pictures

Such a beautiful place! Water is so clear you can see all the fish and there was a huge variety of them. We were there towards the end of the manatee season but were able to see one manatee that had been rescued with a tracker on it. There was a volunteer there that was very helpful and informative and answered all of our questions about manatees. The walking trail is easy with several overlooks of the spring. Restrooms were very nice and clean. This place is a must see!

The springs are actually closed for construction. Only wetlands/marsh waters are open for kayaking. I have been to silver springs, i feel silver springs are better and are longer and had more manatee. Blue springs clear waters are very short and is not a loop to go around. Consider silver springs over blue springs

I will be the first to admit, I’m not much of a nature girl. However, manatees are my favorite animals. They are so cute! Anyway, if you wanna go kayaking with manatees, this is an awesome place to do it! Pro tip:go early- not much shade and at the time if this post you are not allowed to swim due to renovation! The park staff were really nice and informative though.

Beautiful state park with crystal-clear spring water. We visited this state park twice and both times in the month of December. Hundreds of manatees gather here in the spring from mid of November to March, and it's such an incredible sight.

Unfortunately, when we went, there was a lot of construction going on.But the park is very beautiful and I really enjoyed the views from the boardwalk and all the live oaks. And I had a mantis ride on my backpack strap the whole time, so that was cool 😎.

A visit to Blue state Park will not dissapoint. They have regular boat trips, just check that they are running on the day you want. All done on-line. We went early May, so all the manatees had gone. Plenty of fish to see! We saw an American Bald Eagle. Lots of other birds too. Even saw some deer and the prize of the day was an Armadillo! Lovely board walk that offers plenty to see. This walk is wheelchair friendly too. There are restrooms there and a small shop for souvenirs and to buy cold drinks. If visiting for the day just make sure that yiu have enough water and food as it can get very hot!

Wanted to see manatees at the spring but all of them migrated away by now. Otherwise the park is nice. The water is very clear and there's quite a lot of fish in the spring. It's a peaceful and tranquil environment perfect for a family picnic. There's a gift shop and a small convenience store where you can buy snacks.

This place is always beautiful. It's definitely one of my favorite places. While swimming is currently off-limits, it's still a great place to visit for a great chance to see a lot of wildlife. We were lucky to catch some manatees during our most recent visit which isn't very common this time of year.

We stayed in one of the cabins and had a great time! The springs were closed for swimming but we were able to walk the boardwalk and play at the playground. The kids loved riding their bikes and we saw lots of animals and fish in the springs. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our week (although the bed was as hard as a rock!). We would definitely come back!

We went picnicking in this state park and really enjoyed the ambiance. As we walked the boardwalk, we saw a family of manatees and an alligator basking in the sun. The 72° "crystal" clear blue waters are breathtaking. That's nature at its finest. When visiting, take the one-hour or two-hour cruise on a pontoon boat. The captain is truly informative and delightful. It was worth it!

There is always wildlife to look at. Especially since swimming has been closed down. We saw tons of Gar and other fish bigger than the length of my arm. The boardwalk is clean and well maintained and gives plenty of platforms to stop and see the springs and potential manatee activity. The house on the property is also worth a visit if you like learning about history and seeing some tools from antiquity. It's definitely worth multiple visits if you want to catch a glimpse of manatees

This is an absolutely beautiful park! We went in the beginning of April and it happened to be firefly season. It was absolutely magical. I would recommend it to anybody! We'll be coming back next winter when the manatees are there. Can't wait!

Very nice park to enjoy. You can also rent canoes and go on the river. Unfortunately, swimming was not allowed. There are grills everywhere and lots of places to sit. The path through the forest takes about 10 minutes on foot and you can see manatees. Everything was clean and tidy. There is still some construction going on at the moment.

Marvelous geologic experience of a fresh water spring and boil, easy walk with concession stand and restrooms. Mostly shaded. Fair entry price. Great way to experience natural Florida without having to worry about being in the water with the alligators! We had no wait to enter the park and found convenient parking without a problem. Very nice.

Very nice park. Campground is well maintained and very clean bathhouses. Lots of hiking and boating. Currently under construction on banks of the springs, so no swimming until the project is completed. Nice gift shop and canteen. Sightseeing boats are available for a fee.

We came for my boyfriends birthday who is really into Harry Potter but I was pretty impressed with this part of the park. The cold and frozen butterbeer were delicious (I bought 3 in 4 days 😬😅). The rides were pretty awesome and the train was a fun way to get from park to park without walking, be sure to purchase that upgrade. Hagrids Motorbike is popular for a reason, it's a great ride. Be sure to check the Universal app for wait times and delays because it was down several times during our 4 day trip but we were able to ride it 3 times without waiting longer than an hour. First thing in the morning it's the busiest unless you have early access. I saw a lot of kids enjoying the interactive wands with the cute effects they created by waving them.

Looks of stuff to do, the rides were amazing with decently short wait times on weekdays. Lots of different food and drinks to try from. Butter beer is a must try. Lots of places to shop for Harry Potter themed stuff. They definitely got pretty much every detail on point. Would definitely recommend this place if you are a fan of Harry Potter or even just visiting universe studios. Will definitely be back.

This Wizarding world is next level they have a very well done area of Harry Potter here and it looks to real just like the movie this place is so spot on they have spots for the kids to stand and do spells and the employees play right along to show a great time.Take the train over to island of adventures to keep the world alive.A true magical place!!🪄🪄🧙🏼‍♂️

I had a great time and this area of Universal is very immersive. It was quite crowded but because of the more enclosed area it was actually several degrees cooler in Diagon ally. The frozen butterbeer was excellent and I really enjoyed each of the HP rides.

This place was so much fun! I'm not really into Harry Potter, but it felt so real. I love the butterbeer and wish I had some at home. I did the show with the wand, and it was cute to watch it happen.

If you've wanted to be transported into a book your whole life like I have, there's no better place than Diagon Alley. The scope, detail and fun is unmatched.

Very well done little section of the park.Once you go through the entrance way, it will cut off most sight lines of the park. You kind of do get "immersed" (hate that word) in the Harry Potter world.Best time to go is in the morning before it gets crowded. You can get some better pictures this way and feel more like the movies/books. Another nice time is when it gets dark.Check out the Leaky Cauldron for some Butter Beer or Bangers and Mash. The stores are fun even if you aren't going to purchase anything.They make the stores/food stops feel like part of the world. It felt a lot less sterile and lifeless than most of the Disney parks giftshops. Instead of just going into a "gift shop", you were going into one of the "stores" and looking around became fun. Even more fun is that a lot of the things sold, are kind of unique and Harry Potter focused.They did it right.

This was my first trip to Universal, other than Halloween Horror Nights, since 2009, and I was super excited to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It did not disappoint!!! I had my first butterbeer -- I liked it so much I had 2 -- rode all of the rides, went in all the shops, did the wand experience, and rode the train between both parks. Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure is the best ride in the park!!! I was celebrating my 53rd birthday and I'm a huge Harry Potter fan! I had a great time.

Great theme parks, fun for all. Super fun rides and shows. Both parks are busy but well organized so make it easier to move around.

I hadn’t been to Universal Studios since I was a kid, and to come back with my husband, brother, and best friend made it that much more magical. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter experience brought me such an incredible experience. The rides were great, the little experiences such as the wands with the interactive stations, and being able to ride the Hogwarts Express was like having a dream come true. Hagrid’s motorbike adventure was by far my favorite and we cannot wait to come back and enjoy it all again!!

This post is actually about Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus for Halloween horror nights. You're are not supposed to record anything so all I'm posting is a 5 second clip. Anyways I love shows. It's been a really love time since I've been to a good 1. This show is better then most Vegas shows I've paid over $100 for. Just everything about it. The flames. The fireworks. The dancing. The magic... Just everything was great. I've been to horror nights in Cali and Orlando at least 10 times and never knew about this show. It's free with the horror nights ticket. But if this was a thing of its own I would happily pay $60+ for it cuz it's only 30 minutes. Pay more if it was longer. Also the soundtrack. If they sold the soundtrack after the show for $20 I would have bought it. Good show. I always went to horror nights for the haunted houses. Never again. I'll be going there for the shows. And if I have time maybe I'll do some haunted houses. Keep up the good work. So much fun

I've been waiting for this moment since I was a little kid! Fully immersive experience. I truly loved every moment of my time there. A dream come true!

Been going since it opened so I am astounded I've not rated it already. Universal has done a great job of emersion into the wizarding world. Even though we have some challenges with JK's thoughts on social rights, we separate the art and continue to love the rich story line of Harry Potter.

Really admire the time and attention it took to get every detail right. Mind is blown. I'm a little claustrophobic. So, at times it felt confining with the height of the buildings and narrow streets here and there. Shops are also a little small, with as much merch as can be fit into them. Having said that, didn't have too much problem steering a wagon around.

What an amazing place! My kids enjoyed every single moment. The place is huge. You need you have at least 2 to 3 day to complete the tour. I liked the arrangement and how people are aligned to the same. Staff are really supportive and kind. Highly recommended. Will definitely come again !

Universal is awesome enough said. There is so much to do here and everything is done really well with the guest in mind. Very clean park for how busy it was and also everything was very streamlined so waiting was never really to insane. Mainly went to the Harry Potter world part of the park and the surrounding areas and it was a blast. I had originally decided to not do rides but I tried one and honestly it was an experience I didn't expect and got me to do a bunch more, all the rides my wife and I did were amazing.

I was absolutely blown away by the sheer amount of activities and attractions available at this place - it's almost like a small city in itself, offering everything you could possibly imagine to ensure a fantastic day out with your family. During my visit, we arrived at 10:30 am and didn't leave until 12:00 pm, making the most of all the experiences on offer.The variety of rides is truly impressive, although I will admit that in some cases, the wait times to access them were a bit lengthy. However, this minor inconvenience was far outweighed by the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the facilities. The attention to detail and dedication to providing a top-notch experience for visitors really shines through, making it an absolute must-visit destination for anyone looking for a fun-filled and unforgettable day out. I can confidently say that I am a super fan and will definitely be returning in the future!

What an amazing place! My kids enjoyed every single moment. The place is huge. You need you have at least 2 to 3 day to complete the tour. I liked the arrangement and how people are aligned to the same. Staff are really supportive and kind. We have visited the medical care there and it was support. Highly recommended. We had the best day! You definitely should do more than one day each park. We did both in one day, and it wasn't enough time. There are rides for all ages. We loved minions, trolls coaster, Harry Potter, spiderman, Kong, and Transformers to name a few. Park is very clean. So many character meet & greets.We will definitely be going back!!

Employees were fantastic, they work hard to deliver a fun time. We went during the Halloween horror nights and the haunted houses were amazing.Only complaints I have are design based or the result of people. Would be great if they helped with seating as there wasnt seating as folks camped at tables.I will add that I love how they handle the haunted houses especially with keeping flashing lights and doodads off. Major plus. Fast passes for the houses was easy to handle and was well regulated

Firstly, how could you not like the park?! It’s exactly what you’re hyped up about before your first time going. The parking is very well labeled and easy to navigate. (Parking is $32) That alone makes it great. Plenty of water stations, mist areas to cool off, and accessible. The app showing wait times and park hours is very helpful. Take your kids so they can watch you be a kid as well!

Great experience! Very pleasant visit with Universal Orlando. Staff/character was kind, helpful and take pics with you! The height, speed and variety of rides were awesome. Thrilling experience as some points too. Love the the theme park & Rides! Waiting line was long so bought fast track tickets which helps to navigates quicker in a day but if you have two days then regular pass is good! Stay hydrated & Have thrill fun at Universal! Love it!

Went during spring! Weather was cool! Make sure you get attraction tickets in advance and layer clothes! It is Florida! Bathrooms are well kept! Lines were pretty long but enjoy it much! Like any other theme park food is pricey but nothing we don't already know!

Very nice park but a bit confusing. Navigating your way is tough, entryways to rides aren’t identifiable from a distance.So themed that you’re left searching false store fronts for actual stores. Quaint restaurants and shops are mistaken for fake restaurants and shops. Entire streets are facades which look like… actual streets yet no attractions to enjoy. Most of the rides are 3D/4D if you are looking for that. City Walk is very cool but again not well laid out. Islands of Adventure has far more thrill rides, coasters, water rides and activities but is not as themed. Islands of Adventure is very much like countless amusement parks I’ve visited but with amazing rides and attractions. We wish we had spent the bulk of our time there instead of wondering around Universal looking at a hard to follow digital map.The Harry Potter areas in both parks are very cool to see but Islands of Adventure has more actual rides.This is all my opinion from one 10 hour visit. I’ll come back some day and do Islands of Adventure for the day and spend a little time in Universal then eat at a City Walk restaurant.Save the park hopper money and do Universal Studios for themed shops, 3D/4D rides or Islands of Adventure for Thrill Rides, water rides etc.

An amazing experience! My line wasn't that bad to get in, you go through quick. The staff at Universal is just so wonderful, cheery, and helpful. I completely loved my experience! My favorite is the Minions. It's a virtual ride that is loads of fun. Good for kids and adults. Harry Potter world is fantastically done. You can completely believe you are there, even down to the smell of it. Use your imagination and you are right in the movie. So much to see and do! Just walking through the park is a sight to see. It's beautiful, so well thought out and put together. I didn't quite imagine it looking so awesome! The Men in Black ride is kinda boring, at least for adults. Kids like it though, shooting at aliens. Simpsons is huge and phenomenal! The food is great at the park too. Very clean. I don't have a single complaint and I would absolutely return! Wear your walking shoes and experience everything!

Universal studios is a great place. The have plenty of rides and yes the queues can get long but there is still plenty of stuff to do during the busy hours that require no wait. There is something for everyone and the staff are almost all great. I am a huge fan of this park. It is so organized, well kept and fun.

This was my first time at Universal Islands of Adventures and let me tell you I was beyond impressed. I was blown away at how much detail the park has in relation to the movies. The park itself is beautiful and well maintained. Jurassic park was top tier. The rides are exceptional and I can understand now what all the hype is. VelociCoaster is the best attraction in my opinion but Harry Potter's section is amazing as well. This park is definitely a must visit if you are thrill seeking.

The place is great, is an experience. There are not a lot of rides, but there are interactive places. Did I like it, YES. Would I go back? No. It is an amazing place it’s not a place that I would go back to. At least no for a while. I u like rides and to do activities, Adventure Island is x10 better.

Tons to do. Lots of rides and food. You can get lockers to hold your stuff. Some rides have long wait times so get there early for those.Having access to both parks is great. We have never been to the water park.

Definitely one of our favorite parks in the area! Perfect for teen groups, young and older adults. We have sent many groups to this park over the years so this year, we decided to visit in person as a refresher. During our trip, we also visited Magic Kingdom one day and just by comparison......we definitely loved the experience more at Universal. Yes, it was super hot in June and there were a lot of people, just like at Disney, but it didn't seem as crowded. Lots of shade and spacing between rides was good. Also keep in mind, we visited on a Saturday and still had a great time. In our opinion, definitely still one of the best parks in the US!The only negative when we visited in early June.....there was no nighttime show.

Here on a glorious day in October and just before Halloween. Park was not too crowded and the weather was perfect. Super easy to get in and out of the park, the rides were amazing and for amusement park food, it was pretty good! So much to see and experience in one day with all of the parks and their attractions.

Universal studios Florida is amazing and experienced that you must check out. You come here to bring the movies alive as there's all kinds of different things that you can get into here.Multiple rides. Many are the screen style now but roller coasters are still offered.Stroll the streets and check out some of the wonderful shows such as the Hollywood horror makeup show, The Marilyn Monroe show, And definitely visit the animal show.All types of different things to get into places to eat places to visit that will take your imagination to a higher level.We absolutely enjoyed our visit and a very thankful to say I've gotten to go here.My family would love to come back. I would just hope we could find an even better deal regarding universal studios parks.Hit me up if you know some good deals, we'd love to come back.

Universal was an absolute blast! Was my first time going but went with people who have gone many a time. Waits are quite long at some rides like rock n roller coaster & tower of terror so recommend getting there early and/or getting a lightning pass if you don’t like waiting. At times, lines were over an hour and a half at peak times but of course the lightning pass allows you to skip this if you’re willing to pay.Highly recommended for anyone wanting some high speed roller coasters like rock n roller coaster & slinky ride. Shows are super fun and places have full bars with mixed drinks.

This was a great park 25 years ago and today it is much bigger and better. We were extremely impressed with the Harry Potter attraction. I said wow many times because of the amazing detail, shops, and interaction available for the kids with the interactive magical wands. The parade was awesome. There were plenty of food choices with easy ordering options through their app.

I know they say Disney is the most magical place on Earth, but I mean, come on, Harry Potter! I love Universal, and so did my 3 children varying in age from 10-18. To be able to walk through and see Hogwarts and actually ride the Hogwarts Express. Life doesn't get much better. We went on a Sunday, in the summer, and the lines for all rides took no longer than 30 min. It was fantastic.

We really enjoyed our park visit. We went 6/30/24 and paid 200 per person for (1 day 2 park tickets) We arrived on a shuttle for free from a partner hotel. My kids are 7&2. There was plenty for my 2yr old to ride and he got in for free. They have a child swap that allows for one adult to wait at the line while the other adult rides and this was very convenient. Food is pricey but same as than any other park/stadium price but you’re allowed to bring a soft cooler with drinks and snacks. I see a lot of folks complain about the ride wait times, but we didn’t experience that as an issue. It was busy and I recommend going more than 1 day as there was so much to see with two parks! We were able to ride a lot and really immerse ourselves in our favorite themes. Jurassic Park and Dr.Suess landing are truly amazing for kids. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a good attitude and plan your day according to your time allows!

I always love visiting Universal and this year we visited during Halloween Horror Night. It was a great experience and I love the attention to detail with the Halloween theme. There’s 10 haunted houses but we only got to 4 houses since the lines were so long. I highly recommend getting an express pass if you want a full experience. I do wish they spaced out the groups for the haunted house. Otherwise I truly enjoyed it!

I mean when I was a kid this was like the place you go to for the best rides at least I thought, each site had about one main ride and the lines are super long and if you get the fast pass it cost an arm. There is alot and at the same time not much. Maybe I have to go back but for sure not worth the vacation. I think the resort itself was better.

I love this place. Most of the rides are excellent and it's an expensive but fun way to spend time with family. However keep in mind this place isn't good for small children or full figures people as a lot of rides have size restrictions. You also get fast passes for free from certain Universal Studios resorts with a stay.

During October Universal Studios in Florida hosts Halloween Nights of Horror. If you are a fan of Halloween, this is a trek you need to make. It is without a doubt an excellent time. There is no way for me to capture it in photos. We have gone every year since 1992. This year there were 10 houses. We have been taking the RIP tours where you have a guide to take you through. Our guide this year was Parker and we have a couple of photos of him. Just a great time.

Great park with a wide variety of rides for everyone. The lines were not bad at all today. Most of the rides were under 20 minutes, however, there were 3 rides we waited 35 minutes up to 1 hour. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. The food we had was very good. We all purchased some fun merch and had a great day!

Visited here last week with the family had a great time! Just prepare yourself for the heat 🥵. We used cooling towels and brought water. You're also allowed snacks. Would definitely recommend for thrill seekers and Harry Potter fans as well as Marvel fans.

Rides are great. Whole park is clean. Staff and ride operators are very helpful. Music in marvel area can be loud and annoying at times, but not always. Places to hide from the sun are convenient, and splash features in the old school comic area fun and refreshing. Food is affordable and actually good quality, especially compared to six flags, who will double charge you, or more for the same type of food with a lower quality and size.

This is my favorite theme park!My favorite rides in the park are Velocicoaster and Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike. They are full of adrenaline and fun. They are both very fast. They are also the ones with the longest queue wait times.The lands are very immerse. Harry Potter land is awesome.You can find good food but have to look for it very good.

Amazing! Velocicoaster, motorbikes, King Kong and water rides are a must! Keep in mind that at 2 (of 3) water rides you'll be soaking wet! Motorbikes was a next level experience, but expect 1-2 hour queue (totally worth it). Enjoyed every second!

For the most part, it is what you would expect for a theme park. It did become more crowded because of the time of day and holiday. Wait times for Harry Potter were about 1.5 to 2 hours. All other attractions we about 5 to 40 minute wait. We did purchase the express pass, To us, it was well worth it (cut the ride wait times and enabled us to see and do more).

This was my first time visiting, and it was a delightful experience. It is undoubtedly an enjoyable location to visit. It can become quite crowded, so please keep that in mind. If you are traveling from a distant location, I recommend purchasing express passes or arriving early to ensure you have the opportunity to experience everything.

Fantastic park with amazing staff! Really enjoyed taking my dad to see Harry Potter. The heat became too much for him, and we needed to call for a medic. The staff who helped him were amazing! Thank you so much because I was able to get him there and was able to share with him something he really wanted to see at 80!

We got tickets in advance to help with wait time and had a full day of fun. I highly suggest a day of rest if going multiple days. There’s so much to see and do we did two days in a row. The kids had a blast and they’re 8 and 13.

We are Annual Park Pass Holders and love coming to visit many times during the year. We live about 2 hours away so it's nice that we don't have to over do it and can just relax knowing we can come back another time. We like to take advantage of staying at one of the Universal resorts that includes the Express Pass to help avoid long lines. People pay a lot of money for these so to receive 5 per room, that makes the value of staying on site so much greater!

Park is clean, fun, easy to navigate, great places to eat (recommend the fruit for hydration and the greek salad with hummus)!My one suggestion....the park needs more shaded areas and/or misting arches for guests. Take a hat, a personal fan, cooling towel, extra sunblock, and a great pair of walking shoes, and don't forget to drink a lot of water.

LS Group Tours visited the park on Saturday June 8th and we had a blast! The lines really were not as bad as we anticipated, compared to nearly all other amusement parks we've been to. The rides were definitely thrilling! It had been nearly 8 years since some of us had last been at the park so it was nice to see some updates, new rides and some improvements from the last visit. Thanks for an amazing time!

Absolutely a must do with your family. Absolutely a great experience would recommend especially if you have young teenagers. Set up is absolutely phenomenal. kids had a wonderful time. Great family experience.

Perfect park to beat the summer heat, with Fast Pass and plenty of air-conditioned indoor attractions along with water rides to keep you and the wee ones cool.Pros: Several libations locations to keep you comfy and happy, too.Plenty of rides for all ages and heights along with fun themes.Cons: the fast pass is like a bad joke, in that you spend thousands on them and they are just an easily lost piece of paper. Not to worry, they'll sell you a barely adequate lanyards for $20 per to hold them(one of ours broke). If you are gonna charge crazy prices then at least provide better than the bare minimum of quality and service. Fun fact, staff tell you to take a picture of your paper passes because they do get damaged or break off cheap lanyards often.The restaurants are extremely meh, with unkempt and unstocked restrooms. Brought that up to several staff members early in the morning, and by closing, they hadn't been refilled. They do have some vegan options but largely the same highly processed stuff throughout the park. Better food at higher seems like a smart business, especially considering the prices of food and drinks is already outside the realm of reasonable. Let's swing for the fences Universal.Overall it was a good experience but not worth close to the prices paid. For a family of 4 after a full day with no soda, we spent almost 3k. Feels a bit much for what we got but kids did have fun, so there's that.

This is a nice park, even though this park has been marked as a kid park I can tell that you’ll definitely enjoy the attractions from this park. I recommend you to come on weekdays because you’ll have less people and the line will be faster. Service here is great and food is fantastic. I recommend you to go to the Harry Potter’s world because once you go through the doors that separate island of adeventures and hogsmade you’ll definitely feel that you are a wizard in this word.

What an unforgettable experience. Everything was so amazing at the islands of adventure. Just be ready to fork over an arm and a leg for the food and drinks. That's just a part of places like this, though. Please don't forget to get a multiple day pass, the express lines will save hours of your trip and really take your time to embrace all the details they put into this place. I wish they hired more actors to interact with, it was surreal seeing places like this come to life. Make sure to get here early so you can take in every part of the park, you'll have pictures and memories that will last a lifetime 🦖 Can't wait to come back!

Thrills chills and fun! The best ride ever exists in this park, Hagrids coaster alone makes this top theme park in the world. Velosicoaster second and in this park as well! The theming, the food, the music, all of it is so over the top good.The park is clean, team members kind and fun, and just amazing.Already planning our next trip.

Very kid friendly. I think I’m a bit too old for it now -since the adult rides were very hard to get on… but my nephew had a blast here. He got his share of rides and great food delights. I wouldn’t change the experience for the world.Getting the front of the line pass for ride you just must go on… very recommended.

It's Disney World what isn't there to like. It's going to be busy and that but, that should be expected. With how busy it was it was really clean. And we went for the "Not so scary Halloween event" on Halloween and it was awesome most of the rides still open and attractions with the added benefit of being able to trick or treat around the park. Everything was very organized and most lines were really short but most likely because it was an event night and not a normal day.

Truly one of the best theme parks in the world. A must do for anyone who has the chance to do so!From classic Rides from your favourite Disney movies to new attractions and new takes on old classics. Get your fill of all your Favourite treats like PopCorn, Mickey ice Cream bars and Dole Whips! Meet your favourite Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. And of course the all too magical fire works at the end of the Day.Ensure you download the Disney world app. It allows you to buy tickets and make reservations. It also gives you a full map of the park and See wait times for rides and see where your favourite Disney characters are in the Park. Through the app you can purchase Disney genie + or the new lighting lane program that allows to you skip the standby lines in most rides.To make the most of your visit, Do your research before going. Watch YouTube videos on “how to Disney World”And remember Disney World is in Orlando Florida. Disney Land is in California. People still make mistakes when purchasing tickets or making reservations.

The Magic Kingdom Park was a great way to start our vacation. There were so many attractions that appealed to both kids and adults alike. The park catered to all people. It was wheelchair accessible and provided scooters to those who needed assistance getting around. The parade was fun and the amenities were plenty. The park was clean and neat and left me feeling satisfied at the end of the day.

I’m a big fan of Disney, and while Magic Kingdom is a great place to visit, the long lines really impacted our experience. We waited over an hour for many attractions, which made it hard to enjoy the park fully. It’s a magical place with so much to offer, but it’s definitely something we’d prefer to come back to once we have kids. For now, the long waits were a bit too much for us. If you’re a fan of Disney, it’s worth visiting at least once, but be prepared for the crowds and lines.

No matter how busy the parks were, no matter how hot the temperature was, this park was extremely well-maintained and especially clean! My family and I hadn't been to Disney since 2015, and we had the best time! The entire park smelled nice, everything was run efficiently and cleanly. Since we only had one day, we went to Disney World Magic Kingdom, and Epcot. We chose a few rides to go to, and we loved it! Next time we go, it should be for a few days so we could enjoy it more!

Fantastic day. Tron was incredible. Do not miss this ride. It blew my mind. Book in the virtual queue as soon as it is open. We also bought a multi pass and used the lightning lanes. So worth the money. We used the Disney app to book rides and organise our day. We were there for 12 hours and still didn't get to see and do everything. Arrive when the park opens. Saved so much time with the lightning pass. The usual type of food for a theme park. We ate in a restaurant there and bought snacks and drinks. I recommend that you take extra snacks because it is a long day and can become expensive. There are water fountains everywhere. We took empty plastic cups to fill up and avoid carrying water bottles. Worked well.

If you can only visit one park at Disney, make sure to visit the Magic Kingdom. Brought back childhood memories and even as a group of 4 30+ year old adults we had a blast ! Wait time for Tron was brutal though, as we waited 1 hour 54 minutes for it ( Lightning Lane was sold out ).Highly recommend staying for the fireworks show at night.We did the following attractions ( wait times added too )1. 7 dwarfs coaster . 35 minutes2. Speedway . 17 minutes3. Tron: 114 minutes4. Space mountain . 24 minutes5. Big thunder . 20 minutes6. Haunted mansion . 42 minutes7. Disney concert 15 minutes8. Monsters inc 13 minutes9. Fireworks 30 minutesTake note that the monster Inc is a comedy type show and you may get picked on ( in a friendly way ) so just know that before you go.

I have been going to the Magic Kingdom since I was a kid, first time was 1977.It’s always been a magical place to get away from the real world.Even though the last ten years or so Disney has changed and their reputation has dropped quite a bit, I still love this park.The rides, restaurants, and just the feeling of walking down Main Street USA and seeing the castle even today makes me smile.Always great to get away!

We went to Magic kingdom & had a fabulous time! We were able to be there for Mickeys not so scary Halloween! The kids got to trick or treat! It was such a fun experience!! The wait times were low!! We ended up leaving a little before midnight. It was the best time, no wait for the ferry.

We had a blast, we went to eat at the Crystal Palace and saw Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. The price for Park Hopper was reasonable. We stayed and watched the fireworks and it was awesome to watch. We rode on just about every roller coaster that they had, and the wait times to get onto the rides were reasonable. We also went to Disney Hollywood Studios and we had a blast there as well. Even the wait times for the rides there were reasonable. I would highly recommend Disney World to anyone who comes to visit for a vacation to go there.

The park is beautiful and fun. There are a lot of rides and character encounters.I recommend going in early to have the most amount of time to enjoy the attractions.It is stressful to plan to go to this park because you need to have everything planned by the minute to get your money worth. The price is high and they charge for parking as well.

Magic Kingdom @ Walt Disney world in Orlando,Florida. What a magical day! Even brings the kid sparks out of the adults. I believe the adults had just as much or event MORE fun than kids! And for kids it's the most magical experience in person! It's something different. To meet your childhood or modern day all time favorite Disney characters is unspoken words literally! And Disney Characters are complimentary with greeted hugs, conversations, compliments, small stories, and even pictures! How could you EVER forget such experiences. Most definitely an unforgettable experience!. I would definitely purchase tickets before hand and be prepared to walk entirely. Food was great, gifts shops were crazy expensive but expected and worth every happiness my child had.

We had a magical experience from the enter to exit doors. Superb atmosphere, vibes, attractions; shows and rides, characters, entertainment, facilities, services, and restaurants.The entire family will enjoy every single moment.At the end of the magical journey, it is the fireworks and lovely nighttime spectaculars - at 9:20 PM, the astounding fireworks, extravaganza featuring lights, lasers and amazing special effects would conclude your memorable day.

My first visit and I felt like a kid 😃 My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and it was perfect from beginning to end. It wasn’t that crowded and employee was such a big help throughout the park. The parade was amazing. 🤩 Took pictures with some of the princesses. This anniversary was amazing at Magic Kingdom!!!

An amazing experience in every detail!!Remember, Florida is hot and humid, so a nice portable fan and water bottle should be a good friend! For our group of kids it has been the best one by far! And the staff were superb!!

Park was breathtaking. Very surreal. I found a few cons with this park. I found a lot of the employees rude towards people which I don’t know why. Secondly it’s a long walk in between things to do so you can’t do everything in the park in one day as it’s extremely busy. Other than that the park is incredible. Disney does a great job with the whole surreal experience. Would be a 5 star for me but some of the workers shouldn’t be working there especially in a kid environment

What a magical experience ! I enjoyed strolling around the park and also the rides. Everything is very well organized. Plus lots of dining options.One of the best shows was Mickey's Philhar magic. I was amazed by the 3D experience here. A must watch !

We visited the park first during the "After hours" on Monday and then again during regular time on Friday. We could sit in many rides without queue in After hours.So I would suggest if possible, book after hours. You are only going to miss a few rides. We could ride Tron also.During regular hours, there were a lot of people. But the crowd management was excellent. The average waiting time was around 15 minutes. Download the My Disney experience app. It is very useful.Also during regular days, you have to book slot for "Tron" through the app.The fireworks was amazing.Overall a lifetime experience for all.

Our visit to Disney's Magic Kingdom in Florida was absolutely fantastic. After carefully reading reviews, we decided to purchase a 4-day pass and allocate one day to each park, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Being prepared for a day at Disney means being ready to walk several miles, so comfortable shoes are essential. It's also wise to bring your own water and snacks, as the prices inside the park can be quite steep. Magic Kingdom is predominantly geared towards young kids, making it perfect for families with little ones. The Lightning Lane pass was a great help in managing our time and avoiding long queues, although not all attractions were covered. The highlight of our day was undoubtedly the captivating parade and the mesmerizing fireworks show, which were truly magical and well worth the wait. Additionally, we thoroughly enjoyed the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and meeting numerous beloved characters. It was an enchanting and unforgettable family experience, which was the primary purpose of our trip.

Went on a Sunday during down season and again for Mickey's not so scary on a Tuesday.If you are choosing between one, I'd say do the Halloween party, if your kids can handle some not terribly scary Halloween fun. The parade is great, the amount of candy given out is insane. all the big rides have shorter wait times, and most everything is open.lightening lanes are worth buying as lines can get ling

Always busy, but never an impediment to have fun. For the shows, go early to get a good spot, especially for the Happily Ever After, an 1 hour and a half is required to get a good spot. And as well, if you’re going twice to the park, you can take advantage as most of the lines are shorter at this time. After the night show, most of the people are leaving, so if you wait, stores are less busy. Keep in my that most of the time is sunny, sunglasses, a cap, or even an umbrella are helpful.

Wow. Just wait. We absolutely loved our visits to Magic Kingdom. It truly is the most magical place on Earth. The staff are very friendly. It's kept very clean. Prices are typical of the type of theme park. The selection of rides is very good. I'd recommend the Barnstormer. It's very good for those that meet the height restrictions. We cannot wait to come back again.

Most beautiful experience ever!!! Everyone deserves to be here at least once!!! Loved the experience. Staff members were very friendly nice and welcoming! All the rides were only like about 20-30 minutes wait. Food was amazing.

It's always fun going expect to pay an arm and a leg, though. 1 star since you have to pay for parking ( 175 a ticket per person, parking should be free) Bring a bottle to fill with water, don't fill from the fill stations go to a store that serves beverages and ask for water, the water from the fill station taste like swamp water. If you have small kids under 40 inches tall go to magic kingdom they have the most rides they can go on for their height.

We’ve been to Disney a few times and this last time was very special and Disney did not disappoint. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and helpful. Breakfast at the Royal table is a must for anyone taking small children, I know it’s pricey but it is beyond magical. Mickeys not so spooky Halloween was fantastic, I was a little skeptical due to how $$$$ it is but I would do it again in a heartbeat. The parade during the Halloween event was phenomenal and the fireworks were the best I’ve ever seen. Our 5 years old face was priceless the entire time we were there❤️

Amazing. We did Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood studios.The rides range from "omg I can't believe this is real" to "this is kind of boring."That was our reaction. Some rides blow you away with how much detail or how realistic the simulation feels...and others are a ride with TV screens. Luckily, the underwhelming rides typically have shorter wait times so you don't feel screwed.My personal favorite ride:(S tier ride is Guardians of the Galaxy. We did this twice in our 5 day pass)Animal Kingdom(Avatar was amazing, make sure to do safari)Hollywood studios(shows were great and rides are awesome)Magic Kingdom(most rides here are really aimed towards kids. Tron was fun for adults and kids alike.)Epcot(cool trip around the world with some awesome rides).A great experience for all at the end of the day. Disney is very efficient with managing the mass amount of people, but that being said, wait times are intense! Walt Disney World is perhaps the best theme park around. We visited during September of 2023, although I feel like I need to share my experience even now.For starters, there's 4 theme parks (not including the water parks), and many things to do. Our favorite park was Magic Kingdom, with Hollywood Studios as a close second. There's plenty of things to do, whether you're an adult or a child.The last time we went before our trip last year was 2015, so it was our first time seeing Toy Story Land, the new EPCOT and Magic Kingdom rides, as well as Pandora. The highlight of the trip by far was Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT: this is a must do. We stayed at the Grand Floridian, which I would not recommend at the price point, especially due to ongoing construction. There's plenty of more affordable hotels that have a bus directly to all 4 theme parks. The one thing we found nice about the Grand Floridian was the walkable path to Magic Kingdom. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk depending on how fast you go, and leads directly to Magic Kingdom. I don't recommend walking during the afternoon as it gets pretty hot (unless you go during December - March), but it's definitely nice early in the morning or late at night. Since our trip, they've limited how strict park hopping and reservations are, but be aware this still exists, and can be annoying if you want to park hop earlier.If you've made it this far, I want to talk about the cons now. For starters, we have noticed a quality decline in the parks since our last visit. This was anywhere from rides being broken down more frequently, to actual quality issues on rides such as Pirates and Small World. For the amount you're paying, it's clear Disney is not upping their investment in keeping the parks as clean as they used to be. I mean, the Aladdin Carpet ride in Adventureland was making literal squeaking noises as it went up and down. While these may be small issues to many, if you're paying tens of thousands of dollars to go here, you expect the same level of quality for as much as you're paying. Last example I'll give (there were many more) was EPCOT. It seems to be fine now, but during our trip, there were construction walls everywhere due to them redoing the center area of the park. It was very hard to walk around the park due to practically every path being limited by some sort of construction wall, which made crowd levels in these already small paths really bad.Overall, I would give our trip a 4/5, with 1 star taken off due to our hotel experience, and an obvious degrade in quality over the years. Still, this is one of, if not the best theme park you can visit.

This is the kind of hotel that raises the bar for other hotels. It's thoughtfully appointed, it doesn't have all the extra frills but it doesn't NEED it. You have a clean and spacious room (love the sitting areas) a comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and bedding. Clean smelling and very new looking. Felt welcoming. Was quiet. Their breakfasts were fantastic, complete with a little play area for the littles. But the most important part was the service, everyone was so kind and polite. I felt appreciated. They surprised me with a little something for my birthday.I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the theme park area.

Overall, I don't think this place is worth the money. If you don't buy a fast pass to bypass main lines, you'll be stuck for hours waiting in lines. Or you'll walk miles in between rides or places. Food is expensive, not that good, and lack of public water access to drink is sad. Feels so much like a money grab. And in the day of artificial intelligence, they need more interactive things for people. Tron and guardians of galaxy rides were a highlight.

You go back to being a child. You see all your favorite movies and characters. It made me emotional to experience this!! Amazing attention, amazing atmosphere, the food is amazing and just in general a wonderful experience. Be mindful of the weather!!

It has so many rides and adventures! I visited in 2018,and I'm just now reviewing it.The Tower of Terror looked so scary,I didn't go on it. The iconic teacup ride was awesome and lucky I didn't get to dizzy.The Cinderella castle looked grand and was a great icon of the Disney franchise.Sure tickets are were like $250 per person in 2018, But it was a great day!I would totally recommend going to Disney world which is not far from Orlando! Great experience!

Put simply, the greatest place on Earth. Disney go to extraordinary lengths to make your visit as perfect as possible, there are so many little things they do that contribute to it all. The staff are incredibly friendly and so nice to everyone, it makes it a wonderful place to visit.

My wife and I recently visited Walt Disney World, and it was an absolutely magical experience. Each park offered its own unique charm, from the enchanting Magic Kingdom to the adventurous Animal Kingdom. The cast members were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The dining options were fantastic, with a variety of delicious meals and unique themed restaurants. We especially enjoyed the character dining experiences. The attention to detail in the parks was remarkable, and the nightly fireworks and parades were breathtaking. Overall, our visit to Walt Disney World was a five-star experience filled with unforgettable moments. We can't wait to return and create even more memories in the happiest place on earth.

Went with my adult(?) Sons. We all had a blast. StarWars the best!Tron was the longest wait for them, while I shopped.The one coaster I rode, Guardians of the Galaxy Ride was a blast, but Don't think I want to do it again. Great for the under 60 group lol.

It's still a very magical place but it's showing its age. A lot of the rides have missing paint, chips and broken bits. The staff are pretty helpful, the bathrooms were almost all very clean.

Visited Epcot center with family on June 17th. It is a very memorable experience to visit and see the various cultures depicted in one park with plenty of amazing opportunities to capture memories. Never a dull moment.For those who may need wheelchair there are both motorized and regular options. Motorized one costs $85. They will refund $20 once you return it with the key and the receipt.There some criticisms that are reserved for the Disney World App and the inbuilt options to purchase the Lightning lane, Virtual Queue and Genie plus were not at all intuitive.I can imagine even tech savvy folks struggling to make sense and asking questions such as “if that’s what I selected then why is this not happening??” Or “what is the reason for preventing me from entering this virtual line or booking a lightning lane for this show if I have already paid for it?”Also, many of the restaurants are super overpriced as if it’s also a once in a lifetime experience or expense so people will fork out bushels of cash for it!! Insanely expensive!! What makes them think that Millionaires will come to Epcot center to have their lunch?!?!?!There are some select locations I identified where normal people who are NOT filthy rich can have normal healthy food!Go to the location where they have Soarin and there they have multiple food options including some for vegetarians.

😁 Magical? Yes! Affordable? Sure.So our trip was during the pandemic. Many of the attractions were open. Some weren't. We had to schedule an event in advance but still had to wait an hour or more even with the appointment. The ones that were open got closed because it rained every day. Still Awesomeness!! We had parades and Disney characters to meet. Bunches of walking so if you have a handicap plan ahead as there are rental devices available IF you planed for it. We got to fly into space in a Star Wars ship. We got shot down and managed to land safely😁. We had an amazing time! We love this park. My only complaint is the crowd levels. It's always packed, so be prepared. I'm very excited to see the updates coming to this park. The rides are all amazing. I really enjoy the safari too. Just all around was another fantastic day. Also, I love seeing the pin boards back out and all around.

This place was pretty cool. Great for kids and family. Bring lots of water because you will walk a lot. Sunscreen and snacks, too. Or you'll pay quite a bit inside. Definitely go on the jumanji jungle cruise. All the animals we saw were a highlight.

I had an absolute blast at Animal Kingdom! Loved every part of it, from the incredible animals to the thrilling safari. Pandora was truly magical, and the rides were a ton of fun. The staff were super friendly, and the park itself was stunning. The only downside was that the park closed at 6 PM, which meant we missed seeing Pandora at night. Definitely recommend visiting, but aim for a day when the park stays open later to experience all it has to offer.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers an amazing blend of theme park excitement and nature’s beauty. The immersive detail in each area is incredible, and the variety of animals and habitats is a highlight. We loved the Pandora rides: Flight of Passage is breathtaking! The Kilimanjaro Safari made us feel like we were on a real African adventure. Some lines were longer than expected, especially midday, so the lightning lanes are recommended. Overall, it’s a unique Disney experience, blending conservation with adventure.

Love Animal kingdom! Been there multiple times and every time we had so much fun. At safari ride, you see different animals.I love going to Gorilla Fall. Baby gorillas have grown up quite a bit since last year, and teenage boys were moved to different locations.Best part of the park is Avatar ride! Regardless of long line, it’s worth waiting.Lion King show is a MUST!This is the first time we saw the show and were blown away! The costumes, quality of show was comparable to the Broadway show in smaller scale.My daughter went to the river raft ride and got soaked but had so much fun. When you get tired, you can sit on by the water in Asia, have ice coffee and pastries from Joffrey.Whether you want to see animals and stroll around the park or want to get on fun rides, Animal Kingdom has everything you can imagine and much more.

Loved this park and its tropical feel. Easy to get around and some fabulous shows and rides. I liked the restaurants here and the fact that you could buy fruit. The water fountains are plentiful. Top tip - take plastic cups to avoid carrying heavy water bottles. We booked a multi pass for the lightning lanes and a single pass for avatar. We booked a time for avatar to avoid missing it. It was incredible. Unfortunately we forgot about the Na'vi river ride and we missed that. There was an hour queue for that one.This is a full day park. We got there at 8am and did most things by 5 pm without resting but still missed a couple of rides.

Interesting mixture of theme park and zoo-like environment. Very open though so there is a real need to be prepared for both heat and rain as shade/cover is sparse.As with everything Disney, queues are long but done so well that they are part of the experience. Rides are incredible.I found the animal carers engaging, knowledgeable and welcoming of interest from everyone.We ate at the Yak and Yeti restaurant and the food was incredible (Cantonese Pork Belly Bowl and Korean Chicken and Ribs). Possibly the best meal we have had so far in any of the Disney resorts.Will be venturing back to pick up on the few experiences we did not manage to fit in.

Animal Kingdom is a nice alternative to the other Disney parks. Despite closing early you can still see everything in a day. It’s beautifully landscaped and the attention to detail is spectacular, giving you the real feel of being far away in a foreign land. The Avatar ride is a must! Ride it first.

So much fun. I went with my wife and apparently I haven't been on a ton of rides here. We rode dinosaur, safari, it's tough to be a bug, and more in the 4 or so hours we were there. Everyone was friendly and we had a great time.

This park is incredible! This was a new park experience for me as an adult. Been to Disney World many times prior but this experience was incredible. Pandora Experience is amazing! A full sensory experience that I will never forget! The safari and all the other rides and food possibilities are stellar. Definitely a return park!

Really fun park to visit. Nice mix of seeing animals and going on rides. The safari drive is a must and we got to see the zebras and giraffes running around.Everest is a great roller coaster with a fun surprise halfway through that I wasn't expecting. Tree of life is always amazing to see.Pandora is so well done and just an amazing place to walk around and just look at.

We spent six hours exploring the Animal Kingdom without our children. We really wished they were there but we think that this is the best place to come if you are an adult and aren't into riding rides. We did the Pandora 3-D ride which was epic. We also did a safari and it was really exciting to see all the wild animals in a much more open and free atmosphere. The park was laid out nicely and if it was peak season we would definitely have splurged for the lightning passes but I believe you have to reserve those in advance. Weather was beautiful and overall was a great experience although it isn't cheap. Our tickets were approximately $150 each. Stay hydrated!

My family and I enjoyed our visit to Animal Kingdom park. Our favorite was the jeep ride through park to see the beautiful animals. The Zebra was my favorite. The cast members throughout the park from entrance to exit were very helpful and nice. I give them hands up dealing with customers and the heat! I thing I’d like to see in all the parks is more seating. Can’t wait - 2026 for my next visit. I definitely recommend the fast pass for all parks.

Disney seems to try and be a place about helping the future and saving the planet. So animal kingdom is about preservation and improving farming and food production. They have fish farms and various fruits and vegetables that sustain the park with fresh food, but they also look for ways to make food production efficient and more natural. My favourite ride, was a ride I never knew or expected on arrival, which was a safari ride around the various animals they have around the park, like zebras, giraffes and elephants. No barriers other than the car doors, so an amazing experience. You can go several times and still not see the same animals twice, every trip is unique. There about 8 rides here, but plenty of shows and nature walks. The gorilla's and hippo were a great see, as well as plenty of birds and fish. I did get motion sickness on the pandora ride, but great fun. Friendly staff and the driver of the bus was really nice and informative. I would visit again.

Best disney park! We spent two full days here on our honeymoon and we could've spent more just walking around and taking in the scenery. It rained one of the days and it just made the park so much more beautiful looking with rain. Especially in Pandora! Also, Flight of Passage is by far the absolute best ride in all of the parks!

We literally love this park! The safari was nearly an hour long which was absolutely incredible. We took so many photos! The worldly vendors and shops looked so authentic we felt like we were on a grand trip around some of the most exotic parts of the world.Sadly we didn't get to do any rides because our time was cut short. I intend.to go back to all the parks next year so I pray I can plan better and get it all in. The safari again as well!!!

First time ever at this park and it was fantastic to see all that it had to offer. The safari was very pleasant and we were very fortunate that nearly all the animals were out and fully displaying themselves. Everest was thrilling and the journey to the ride itself was beautiful. Pandora just is an experience unto itself. Truly breathtaking and the rides are just hard to put into words. A lot of water and shade is highly recommended on those 90+ degree, 11+ UV index days. The park can take a lot out of you.

Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida is our favorite park because it truly caters to visitors of all ages. One of the highlights of our visit was the incredible safari experience. Our knowledgeable guide provided fascinating insights about the animals, and we were able to see them up close in their natural habitats. While the park requires a fair amount of walking, wearing comfortable shoes is essential. We decided to try the Genie Plus pass (Now Lightning Pass), which, despite the additional cost, proved to be a game-changer. It saved us valuable time and allowed us to enjoy more rides and attractions. Taking the advice of other reviews, we came prepared with packed lunches, water bottles, and backpacks, which made our day even more convenient. Overall, we had an unforgettable time at Disney's Animal Kingdom and highly recommend it.

Went with our daughter and family. Everyone loved it especially the Everest ride! That was too dark and fast for me! Not keen on roller coasters but younger members of the family loved it. The Safari ride was one of my favourites, but get there early. We all loved It's tough to be a bug! Don't miss this.

We had a good time at Animal Kingdom. The safari ride was cool, and the Pandora experience was awesome! My kiddos and husband loved the Yeti ride as well. I felt like the food options were pretty reasonably priced as well, which is so nice. My only disappointment was that I expected more of an animal experience. There are animals and of course the safari but I really thought it would be pretty emersive and it's really not. Overall it was a fun day and we checked it off the bucket list!

What an amazing park.It’s essentially a zoo but WAY cooler.The avatar area is very well created and the rides are a blast.You must take the safari tour, as it is the best way to see a lot of animals.We were lucky enough to visit during a time where the baby gorillas were active and playing. They are so goofy and fun to watch.Food was good, rides were fun. Only wish it didn’t close so early.

It was 25 years since I last visited, and there was a lot I hadn't remembered, plus a lot new since then.It was great to see the rocket garden again, this time with updated rockets added.It was awesome to see the shuttle up close. The Enterprise was there on my last trip. This time, it was different, though. Seeing the Atlantis got my eyes misty.The Mars exhibits were interesting, and the kids enjoyed the play area.Nice to see the big, white building again and rockets up close on the bus tour. It is amazing how small we are compared to them.Always something to take the family to, even though the price is up there. Even with Florida discount, it is an expensive day trip.

One of the most incredible places I have ever been to, NASA and the work they have done is literally amazing. Seeing the Atlantis and all the exhibitions.. fantastic. From the moment you walk through the gate to the moment you leave is worth every penny. All the staff are very knowledgeable and happy to help in any way. Getting to meet Fred Gregory the astronaut topped the day off. Flew from the UK just to visit, I will be back again

Hadn't been in a few years and was pleasantly surprised with all the new exhibits and attractions. Would definitely recommend for young children and teens. Adults will also appreciate the history and the memorials of past astronauts. If you go early morning, make sure to have snacks and water. Most food courts open at 11.

As a teacher and lifelong Floridian, I was thrilled to finally visit the Kennedy Space Center after winning tickets to their 'After Dark' event. I had so much fun exploring all the exhibits, which were both fascinating and educational. The displays really bring space exploration to life in an engaging way for all ages. The music was fantastic and added to the overall vibe of the event, making the experience even more memorable. While the gift shop had some cool items, it was a bit pricey, and I think a wider variety of space-themed food would make the visit even better. All in all, it was an amazing night, and I can't wait to return!

Worth the trip with only a few minor issues. Easy to get to but best to buy ticket online in advance. Plenty of parkingWhile there are guides it would help to have more with available directions. They advocate using your phone for a map but that is not as good as the paper map as the app stands nowDefinitely take a bus tour. However it passes quickly but does not stop at the Vehicle Assembly Building which would have been interesting. Seeing the Saturn V center is worth it. If lucky you may be able to see a launch (one was scheduled but they had to scrub at the last minute - disappointing).Definitely stop at the Atlantis shuttle building and see the Deep Sky IMAX film on the James Web telescope.Could use some souvenirs etc to purchase on James Webb. Also not sure why you have to pay to park.We weren’t able to see everything but you can do fairly well with a one day ticket. They advise 2 day and it really depends on how deep you want to get into it. Would have liked someone to go outside with the group and explain the launch sites across the water.Regardless of a few negative issues it is worth going.

Best visit of the trip! Loved everything here.$20 for me to get a wheelchair for my daughter and a double stroller for my younger children which made this trip so great! So much to do..so much to see! The play center was the best part for the kids and I don’t blame them!

Simply amazing! Totally worth the price. Take a bus tour to Apollo centre as soon as possible. And don't forget to take photos in astronaut suits at the Apollo centre. Simulators are fun as well! You can easily spend all day there. My only disappointment were the food options.

This was a wonderful experience. An employee was so helpful and directed me first to go on the bus which takes you to another museum a couple miles away. Once done there it brings you back so you can see other things.The only things I recommend for coming are be prepared to spend the whole day, there are so many cool simulations and because they let other people in (rude) it takes a while to try everything. Which leads me to my other recommendation, hand sanitizer to be safe.I had a great time and would love to bring the niblings with me next time.

I was dreaming of visiting this place for years so I was excited to visit for the first time. We arrived at the opening and left at the closing so I was able to see most of the museum. However more time would have been perfect as I had to rush a bit and missed things like the IMAX movie. But I was able to see all the important exhibits without rushing much. This was an interesting visit because I learned a lot about space, astronauts and more. It was also very impressive to see real objects like astronauts suit or piece of the moon. Also being able to see the building where they assembled rockets was amazing. You can just admire it from your bus seat but they let you time to take pictures and appreciate the view. I had a great time and I already want to visit again in a few years. Also the staff members were very kind and passionate which made the experience more magical.

The capsules, EVA suits, lunar samples, the rocket garden, lots of “space age” interactive exhibits are amazing, but the dramatic intros leading you into face to face encounters with the work horses of the Apollo and STS missions were a real treat. The Kennedy space center can take someone with minor space knowledge and give them enough knowledge and context to really be in awe of the vehicles once the curtains rise and the music swells. Seeing Atlantis with cargo bays open and the Saturn V rocket were the highlights of our trip. Will definitely return many times!!

An awesome must hit spot when in Cocoa Fl, my wife and I came out for a small weekend getaway. We had a great time we got there early and the staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave tips on what exhibits to visit early to avoid the big crowds like The Atlantis. We were absolutely blown away by all the Real/Used artifacts like mission flown rockets/shuttles. Absolutely mind blowing size and the exhibits were very informative. Would definitely recommend to people of all ages! Everyone could learn something while visiting. If the opportunity is available we definitely recommend taking the bus charter to the other part of the park and going to view the launch pads as well as the big assembly building. Very surreal seeing it in person. Hope to visit again soon!

If you are visiting Florida or live here, don't miss visiting this place full of history and future. The facilities are extraordinary, the tour was great. If you live in Florida, there are county passes you can use. Today was for Orange County and admission was only $20 per person. Parking is $15 for small vehicles. Highly recommended, don't miss it.😊

Visiting was an amazing experience. There's something for all ages. Our son is 10 months old and they had a baby play area that he thoroughly enjoyed at the indoor playground. We enjoyed educating ourselves in the memorial area and gateway was amazing.

Great value day out and lots to do now they have added extra attractions, if you can upgrade your ticket to the adventure tour then you can get off the Bus at the VAB and launch viewing site otherwise you will go straight to the Apollo rocket building.Make sure to bring drinks and a pack lunch as this will save a lot of money and there’s multiple places to sit and enjoy it!

We love this place! Great experience, with all the centers. The best moment was the bus tour, almost 2 hours of knowledge and a visit to launch pads, the guide was perfect. It’s a place to go with Kids and give to their a motivation to see the life for another perspective. This place breathes science and technology, we can see How the manking is evolving from a scientific perspective.Staff are very good and adorable, clean and well maintained place. An amazing place to visit.It's spread out over two main centres, so we took the free bus from the Apollo/Saturn Centre first. It's about 10-15 mins and there's a commentary on the way as you pass the Vehicle Assembly Building, the crawlers and a view of the launch pads in the distance.After getting off the bus at the Apollo/Saturn centre, you enter a big hall and watch a video about the history of space flight. You then enter the original control centre and watch a video of a launch, including rattling windows, which was brilliant.Then you enter the huge room with a Saturn 5 rocket and loads of other interesting things. And there are toilets, gift shop and cafe.Back at the main Kennedy Space Centre, there's too much to do in one day. Including the world's biggest space shop! Obviously over-priced, but a huge range.We went into the shuttle exhibit, which we had to queue for, but it moved quickly.We went into a large hall and watched a video, then went into another large room and watched a virtual 360 degree video about the shuttle. Really well done. We then went into the main exhibit with the original Atlantis shuttle. There are lots of other interesting things to see, including a shuttle ride, which was brilliant. Make sure you take any loose items out of your pockets as you go vertical!

It was a wonderful experience. Everything turned out to be unreal. The astronaut who signed the photos was something incredible! There are a lot of chips that were insanely unique and interesting. Believe me, this is much more interesting than all the parks that exist in Florida. It's impossible to describe, you just need to see it all. All the staff are incredibly friendly, this is a place where you want to stay.

I was at Kennedy Space Center back in the early 80's at as a young boy. It was impressive then and was again 40+ years later. The price to get in is not bad considering all that is included with your entry ticket. A must do is the space shuttle simulator. We arrived after lunch and should have gotten there earlier as there were a few things we did not get through. This is a full day adventure! There is something for young and old. The facility is easy to get around on foot as it is level ground and handicap accessible. Food and drink prices are reasonable on site. They will take your photo multiple times and to purchase your photos will run you $25 and $35 each. Your option to purchase or not to purchase. The shuttle Atlantis exhibit was my favorite this trip. I grew up with the NASA shuttle program and the men, women and their families that sacrificed so much for the program are true American heros. In the future I hope they build a Space X and Boeing exhibit to showcase the current space programs.

From 1962 to now - I’m sure that this place has not disappointed the millions of guests it’s had since then. Two shops, sit down and take away restaurants, bars, and a great view of the ocean from the end of the boardwalk. You can actually see the Kennedy Space Center from here, so if a rocket launch was to happen you could just sip a drink and watch it go up! It’s a nice pier to go to. We went during Memorial Day weekend. Fairly busy. Lots of food options on the pier. Restrooms on the pier as well. You can also watch the surfers by the pier. Good views of Kennedy Space Center from the pier Coaches..

Loved going to Cocoa beach pier for the first time having plan to see the Falcon 9 rocket launch from the pier but due to thunderstorms, rocket launch got delayed and we spent some time at the beach and it was really awesome..waves were really warm and lovely..lot of people were present and it was really nice. Showers and bathrooms were available. Also, lot of eating options were available in the pier. We will be going back again soon.

Westgate Pier is a wonderful experience.The pier has various restaurants, bars, and gift shops.Eat and drink overlooking the beach ⛱️ and ocean. Excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Nice beach vibes! Play on the sand and ocean and enjoy good food.I highly recommend Westgate Pier as a vacation destination.🤗😊😃👍

All in all, the pier was ok, had just stopped by for some drinks and possibly some lunch, $30 parking almost derailed that trip, it's also the reason for the low rating. Was only there for a little over a hour. Other than that the pier was great. Those who try to enter the pier after 7pm will be held to wait for an hour before allowed entry. There was a long line. I have no idea why. We had been there earlier in the day with easy entry.

Definitely fun under the sun. The waves did not stop which made it extra fun for everyone. Parking spots were good size for large SUV's.

Local to the area and decided to come out to the Rikki tikki pier to have a nice lunch. It started to rain and lasted about 10 minutes. The employees immediately started to close the restaurant as they thought it was going to last. The sky cleared up after 10 minutes the wind completely stopped and they still said they were closing. There was guests at the pier asking the servers if there were more thunderstorms coming since it was clear and they were still forcing us out, the server said “uhhh idk i just do as im told.” I asked a manager who was passing by if they think they will reopen. She said she doesn’t think so as they HAVE NOT CHECKED THE RADAR but there is 30 mile per hour winds expected. How are their winds expected when you didn’t check the radar??? Here’s proof of the weather and the sky. The weather is now beautiful. Come on it’s Florida. And ma’am the wind gusts are currently 9 mph here’s the proof. The highest is only 12 mph for the whole day.Sad to say but they saw rain and took that opportunity to pack up super quick, kick everyone out, so they could go home :)If I were a tourist I would be LIVID.Do better cocoa beach pier.

Cocoa Beach is short drive and a nice getaway from the typical Orlando family vacation. The pier is a nice spot to watch surfers, volleyball or rockets launching from Cape Canaveral. Has some gift shops a couple bars and places to grab some food.

Access to the pier is free but you will pay for parking. There are a few restaurants located at the entrance to the pier and along the pier itself. The tables along the pier are first-come first-serve dedicated to the restaurants and there were only a couple of benches where the general public could sit. There is a super cute tiki bar at the very end of the pier.

A small pier alongside Cocoa Beach. A nice place to take pictures and grab a snack or refreshments. They have a few shops along the pier but it mostly provides a great view of the beach and a place to take some nice pictures.

Nice place to relax on the beach with an option to walk on the pier to grab lunch and drinks with a view. They charge $20 to park, and they offer chair and umbrella rentals that are reasonably priced.

This was a beautiful pier. Our issue was that the security guard was extremely rude! To not only us, but we observed him being rude to others too. No Bueno.Also was frustrated that they closed the bar super early because "nobody was there", in their words. Disappointing. All of the shops were closed too. Would've loved to have spent more time here, but... oh well.

They had the pier shut down when we got there, so we couldn't walk out on the pier to look and take photos. A month ago, when I was last here, they regulated pier and we had to wait 45 minutes to go out on the pier.

I am a photographer and a commercial drone photographer as well. Currently I live in New Smyrna Beach but shoot sunrises from different points along the Florida coastline. The Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier is a great place to visit, and a fantastic place to see the sun rise. Only did the drive thru part of the park, but it's a lot of fun. There are animals everywhere. They are used to the cars and seem to be even more respectful and courteous than some drivers at times. We really enjoyed just taking our time to go through and watching how the animals go about their day to day. There were several babies across a bunch of species and they were adorable. Some were up and playing, others resting or staying close to their mothers. It was a good time and one that we will definitely do again but next time we will want to enjoy some of their other attractions as well.

They lock the gates 10 minutes after closing make sure to get to car with enough time to get out. Also there is no lighting on the paths & once the sun is down it was hard to see to get out of the park. More don't touch a snake if you see one instead of an exit signs. Lots of gators. We had a nice time. The trails were mostly dirt. Like most animal parks you need to watch out for wet walkways.

The staff were kind and welcoming and the animals truly seemed comfortable and happy. We did the hour long air boat tour which was fantastic! Our captain was funny and knowledgeable and the tour gave us an educational and beautiful look at Florida wildlife and scenery.

Great family experience. Loved the freedom of taking our time through the drive through safari, many animals came right up to the car for some cool pictures. The gator park was eventful as well, so many animals to check out. Few shows to check out as well, we missed it.

We missed a turn off the turnpike and ended up late for our boat. They put us on a boat with a shorter tour time but included the safari to make up for it. Fabulous customer service. The airboat was fun. The lunch was good. We enjoyed the walk through the park with the animals and the informative staff. The drive thru safari was a pleasant surprise and so worth it. We had a phenomenal time.

Wild Florida is a gator park and much much more. It is about 30 miles south east of our Blue Heron 1806 rental condo.Wild Florida also has a 'drive through Safari', Airboat tours and wildlife park featuring gators and an assortment of animals from around the world. The park has a great swamp walk, petting zoo and bird house in which you can feed the resident animals and birds. You can even arrange an alligator feeding experience and walk through a swamp. All their attractions are very reasonably priced and they even have Florida residents rates. We highly recommend Wild Florida. It is well worth the drive! Don't forget to get a picture holding Fluffy the gator!

This is the best day place ever! I did the capybara encounter on Saturday and had the best guide. Not sure what her name was but she was so sweet. I have wanted to pet a capybara for so long and it was honestly a dream come true! Those little guys are so sweet and cute. The atmosphere was incredible and all of the animals seemed well fed and taken care of. The staff was very nice and all seemed to care very much about the animals. I will certainly be back.

We did an airboat ride and then visited the park. We loved seeing the animals and feeding the gators. The Gator show was very informative and fun to watch. We also did a Capybara experience. This let us go inside their pen to feed and pet them. This was an awesome experience. I would 100% recommend going here

Took my 12 year old daughter on a whim for something to do on spring break. I’m SO glad we did! She loved seeing all the animals so close, and feeding the giraffe, Walter! We even got to see a Watusi delivery a brand new baby calf, watched momma clean her baby, and the whole herd, including a bison and 2 camels come to see the new baby! It was such a joy to be a part of! The park was great to see and then seeing new life come to be and all the animals so excited to see the baby made it even better! Thank you for letting us in to be a part of that!

We had a terrific time at Wild Florida. Our airboat captain, Alex, was awesome in sharing facts about the Everglades area. He knew a lot about the flora and fauna of the area and managed to point out a number of small gators as well as mother about 6 foot long.We also saw bald eagles and many other water birds as we cruised around the edge of the whole lake.After the airboat tour we took a walk around the rest of the park to see the other animals they had on show. There are plenty of gators, if that’s what you’re after, that we fed and had photos with too. The exotic animal show was well prepared and the keeper was entertaining.We felt it was well worth the money. We bought the half day adventure and 1hr airboat ride.

This is a great place to take the family for a reprieve from the cost and crowds of the theme parks. This is intentionally slow and casual giving you a chance to enjoy the animals and the beauty of the park. It's educational and fun.

Loads of fun for kids and adults. Went during the summer months, it's definitely better to go when it's cooler, you'll see more active animals and be more comfortable too. The fan boat tours are a must (but tickets in advance because they book up), and make sure to feed the giraffes!

Absolutely loved our visit to Wild Florida. We got a Groupon for 4 people and it came with feed for 4 people. We got to hold the baby alligator. The staff were so helpful and Informational. My 3 year old niece loved the playground. Could have spent a whole day!

We had an Excellent experience at the Wild Florida “Gator Park” / Zoo. Everyone who works there is Extremely nice and truly go Above & Beyond to make your visit a Memorable! They have a wide variety of animal species who you can clearly tell are truly LOVED by the staff and receive Top Quality care! From an Albino Alligator (2 actually) and a varying array of reptiles and birds to Monkeys & a Kangaroo! They offer a ‘Petting Zoo’ area with the Sweetest Wire Haired Pigs (not positive what they’re called) named; Juniper & Birch who actually come Running to you when you call out their names!! The Capybara family had the Most Adorable little babies in their little ‘Capy House’ as well!!All around we had a Wonderful experience and I would especially like to thank Carmen for catering to our food allergies and ensuring we had The Most Delicious lunch and Elric (sorry if I misspelled it!) for being so kind and helpful while helping us with our order!

The airboat rides are a must - recommend the 60 min over 30. Our 60 min ride was over in a flash! Even in the gear, our captain found us some baby alligators and an adult. So much to see and our captain supplied informative commentary. A great experience.

We had the best time! I definitely recommend paying extra for an animal encounter(s). I did online ahead of time for my son. He fed and petted a porcupine and lemur and petted a sloth. Truly an amazing experience. The animal keepers were very professional and answered a lot of our questions. We also made sure to tip them. There is an alligator feeding but we choose to skip that one. And of course we went into the aviary section and fed the birds. We stopped at the Chomp House Grille and had a cheese steak sub and chicken tenders. It was pretty good! Although this park is small it has a lot of animals. Our favorites was Pepper the Fennac Fox.

One of the best zoos we have visited so far.. the property is neat, clean, and well maintained and all the animals and birds look happy and healthy. Train ride costs $4 per person and it was really nice to take a break from walking around. Cafe was good too with a variety of food items for adults and kids. The splash zone is great for kids that they can have fun in shallow water so make sure to carry swimwear if you are going with kids as they may enjoy playing in water more than walking around the zoo seeing animals. We would love to go again when possible.

This is a nice Zoo. It may not be the largest in the area but it is still very good. The volunteer staff were very friendly and helpful. The Zoo has a good sellection of animals that seemed to have plenty of room to roam around and seemed to be well adjusted in their enclosures. This Zoo is a little more for younger children but adults will enjoy it too. There are sections were you can actually walk around with free roaming Kangaroos, Emus and birds. This is a great place to enjoy the Florida flora and fauna from around the World. We had a good time and will be coming back again in the future.

I recently visited Brevard Zoo, and it was a great experience! The entire place is incredibly well-maintained, and I was impressed by how clean everything was. It’s clear the staff takes great pride in keeping the zoo pristine. Despite being a popular destination, it wasn’t overly crowded, making it easy to enjoy all the exhibits without feeling rushed. The train ride was a highlight—taking you right through the heart of the wildlife exhibits, where animals roam just a few feet away. It’s a unique, up-close experience that you won’t find at many other zoos. Highly recommend for families!

Season passes will get you discounts at other zoos and aquariums across the USA. Great zoo. We stopped visiting and donating this year after the 4th year.It has became clear they will never finish the lion habitat within their lifetime. Visit and you'll see what I mean..

My family loves the Brevard Zoo. We’ve been going for many years. Some of our favorite things to do is the train ride, splash pad, feeding the giraffes, and all the up close animal encounters. We highly recommend visiting this zoo!

Very pleasant little zoo. We broke a trip going further south by taking a couple of hours break to walk around here. You can save a couple of bucks by buying tickets online, but the admission price is pretty reasonable.Not a large zoo by any stretch but still some great animals to see, and some innovative habitats that we enjoyed seeing, and in some places allowed for unusual or better close-up viewing.Loved being able to walk amongst the kangaroos, get close up with rhinos, and see a baby impala only 2 1/2 hours old.Certainly worth a visit if you enjoy zoos.

If you're local invest into a membership, we got ours today!We had a blast great space, great location, such beautiful walkways, they take care of the animals so well, feeding 🦒 was so fun and things to do and see beautifully said. The Cobb Salad was delicious, which is rare usually themed places tend to lack in this but it was all great. Very fun we're coming back to do some kayaking which we love and adventure zipline.

First, I am happy they do discounts if you have foodstuffs or WIC. That made it very cost efficient for me and 3 kids lol. Second, they do a Halloween event where they decorate the park and give out free bags and candy to the kids. That was an added surprise! Third, they park was fun and they have a splash area for the kids to enjoy also. Only reason for the 4 stars would be that it's not a very big park. We spent about 2 hours walking around and that included a sit down break where we sat and ate. Food was very expensive there but they let us bring in our own food and so we saved lots by eating the food we brought. The kids loved the giraffe feeding experience. Rhino feeding experience was a cool option but we didn't do it.

We love the Brevard Zoo! It has tons of shade, great walking paths, an easy-to-follow layout, and up-close and personal animal encounters. Feeding the giraffes was an amazing experience!

My family (all adults) were sooooo impressed with the Brevard Zoo. We went on a very hot day in June. There is lots of shade in some of the exhibits and in the eating area. The zoo has a conservation focus and the exhibits seem natural and designed to give each animal the type of environment it needs for optimum health and happiness. Animals are eating natural food (fruits and veggies) and are obviously well fed and taken care of. The staff members are pleasant and helpful. There are lots of places to sit and rest. The food is also excellent and there are good vegetarian options. This was a great experience, even on a very hot day.

Had a great time! As an adult tourist here in Florida this was the perfect zoo. The giraffe feeding was a blast and the walking paths were well maintained and easily walkable. Very glad I went!

What a beautiful outdoor setting to create memories with friends and family that never gets old. Shaded paths make it easy to get your "steps" in. Ever evolving exhibits allow up close views of a wide variety of animals, but expect something under construction as they continue to grow and update. There's always an abundance of volunteers to answer questions. Most popular are the giraffe and kangaroo exhibits and bird aviary. The kids can cool off and refresh in the Splash Pad area. Something for almost everyone. It seems most guests plan for a return visit before they even leave. No wonder it's been voted one of the most popular zoos in the country.

I concur with the comments of many other reviewers and visitors of this location. This is one of the best, if not the best zoo in the country. The animals are lively and appear to be at peace with enough room to feel relaxed and at ease within their areas. The zoo is well-kept, clean, orderly, and designed in a way that it is not overcrowded even with a large number of guests present.

Excellent small zoo. One of my top 10 favorite zoos in the USA. Well managed. Animals seem very well cared for. They're building an Aquarium soon (at the Cape). We really enjoy every visit. Go early for best viewing. ♡♡♡

I've been going to the Brevard Zoo since I was a kid, and it's just gotten better and better. I never had a bad experience here, and it's such a fun way to spend any day of the week with your family! The train ride was a little more brief than I remember it, and I would recommend doing other things instead. I highly recommend the bird feeding, but you have to get there early. The birds get full really fast. The part with the snakes is another one of my favorite parts. The splash pad and playground are great for little kids. And if you wanted to do something a little extra, I would suggest zip lining at Treetop Trek, which I'm pretty sure is accessible from the inside of the zoo now. The first time I went I entered from the parking lot, but it might depend on the specific zipline you're doing. Annual passes are also totally worth it if you want to come a lot. You should definitely check this place out if you want some fun!

This is one of the best Zoos in the country in my opinion. We have the annual pass (well worth it) and go about twice a month. They’re always adding new activities to keep it interesting. Also and my favorite part is the animals are very happy and well cared for!

Very nice zoo, plenty of well thought out exhibits. They have a good variety of animals. Kids splash pad area was neat. The train ride was nice, you can walk in a enclosure with kangaroos, and feed birds. Overall much nicer and lots of shade compared to central florida zoo in Sanford.

What a beautiful zoo! The animals appear to be very well cared for and I love how their enclosures allow them to run overhead. They have so much space, and then they are given food in a way that mimics how they would hunt for it in the wild. You should go in the early morning when they’re feeding the animals. (Although for very small children, it may be a bit too real). Feeding the giraffes and lorakeets were the highlights.

Brevard Zoo is hands down the best zoo in Central Florida. I have been going to this zoo since I was child and each year it gets better and better. I have been a member on and off for years and I don't mind renewing my membership I know Brevard Zoo is investing the money into improving the zoo for the animals. Highly recommend you go with your loved one, friends family , or even by yourself. Love Brevard Zoo

Beautiful!!! If you like nature you will love this place. It's $20 per person but it's worth the money. It has a 8 minutes video, a museum, a house tour. The view by the tower is nice, the gardens and the fountains are beautiful too. They play the bells live at 1pm, 3pm and not sure about some other times. I wanted to go for years I don't know why I waited that long.

We love the many incredible Botanical and Natural Gardens that Florida offers for visits, at the “top” of our list is Bok Singing Tower. On this particular visit we had a goal to hike their trail system along with the Garden. We ended up doing over 5 miles including a variation of terrain. It is no easy feat to hike a grade of significance in Florida.The bonus was the large number of Azaleas in bloom. The music from the carillon echoed in the hills as we traversed the sand and clay terrain. The gardens transported us to far away places with strange sounding names. Then we inadvertently crashed a wedding where the theme from Jurassic Park brought in the Groom and Bride’s entourage. And you know… in that setting it worked.

In the past, we had the pleasure of visiting Bok Tower to experience the majestic tower and hear the enchanting melodies of the carillon instruments. However, our focus for today was the gardens, particularly the native plant displays. We are always fascinated by the beauty of the meadows, the intriguing bog habitat, and the interesting endangered plant garden. The meticulous care of the park was evident as we observed the dedicated gardeners tending to the grounds. Despite the heat of the September day, we enjoyed strolling among the diverse and vibrant plant life. When the heat became too much, we sought refuge in the Blue Palmetto Café, indulging in refreshing cold drinks and savoring the crisp flavors of fresh salads. After lunch we watched a short movie on the formation of the park and visited the gift shop.

Wow! Gorgeous! Beautiful! Are words to describe this beautiful part of Heaven on earth! This park is beautifully laid out to enhance the natural beauty of its flora and landscape.

Such a wonderful place to spend time in nature with family and friends. There are electric carts to rent for those who cannot walk long distances or uphill. There’s a children’s area for play and learning. Dogs are welcome for an additional charge of $10. Several restrooms are located throughout the grounds. November-February are the most colorful times to visit as most of the camellias and azaleas are in bloom. This is not to be missed.

Absolutely loved it... so beautiful and peaceful.The waterlily pond was breathtaking! The walking paths were clean and easy. I truly enjoyed the 5 hours I spend with nature at this beautiful garden!

Visited 4/16/2024 and had a great time. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The grounds are immaculate. We brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed time by Bok tower as the carillon played. There are lots of small secluded areas to enjoy time together in a peaceful outdoor area. The tour of El Retiro is worth it and brings you back to a time long past. We did stop in the cafe, where they have a selection of beers, food, and ice cream among other things. All were excellent. I'll be back!

I was able to check Bok Tower Gardens from my Florida bucket list. It was a remarkable visit to the gardens. From the moment you drive up to the towers, you are captivated by the beautiful scenery. The gardens feel like something in a fairy tale made real. The welcome center is this huge modern/museum space. I like how they maximized the space without looking cluttered. My kids had a blast looking for shark teeth in the front gardens. I’ve really love how the gardens were kid friendly and had a separate area for them to discover. We discovered so many fun zones for the kids to explore. Finally, we journeyed deeper into the gardens to more beautiful plush greenery with a huge pond that had Lilly pads. My daughter said the tower looked like Rapunzel’s tower. We didn’t get to admire the towers for long because the rain poured down. I will definitely visit again to explore more of the gardens.

A beautiful place, we went on a hot summer day, but it was worth it. One thing you have to do is take a tour of the house, a piece of history that has so many beautiful details is a dream.And then keep strolling to the tower, where you can stay there and enjoy the afternoon, have a picnic or just relax. But the Tower is a masterpiece you will enjoy those beautiful melodies. And to finished our day we have a delicious lunch at their cafe 😋. And we stop at the shop for a little memory. It was a perfect day. Oh we did the WaWa day and play the scavenger hunt lol and we also have fun at the kids area,

Feels like heaven when you hear the music from the tower. Beautiful landscape and clean. The worker Teresa at store is very friendly. They sell plants too. I bought a mini Panther plant.

My family visited on one of the Wawa Fun Days. On the last Thursday and Friday of the month you can register for free tickets online. I highly recommend visiting, it’s fun for all ages! There is such a variety of gardens and plants and even wildlife.I recommend going first thing in the morning during the summer. Be aware that gardens open at 8am, however, the visitors center, cafe and shop (with mobility cart rentals) do not open until 9am. Which is fine as there is a lot close by while you wait an hour. There is some walking however it’s not as extensive as some other gardens may be, many of the gardens are close together.Pictures of the tower don’t do it justice. It’s a beautifully made building with 60 bells 🔔 inside. It sounds gorgeous when it chimes every half hour. They also have someone who plays a show on them during the afternoon.The visitors center is clean and has beautiful, informative exhibits as well as a theatre that plays a 15 minute clip with some history of the grounds. Enjoy!

This is one of the best botanic gardens on the whole east coast of the USA.Great walking paths, well labeled plants, duper staff, interesting varied environments.Add to that a great kids area and a carrollon that plays every half hour and you have an all day to multiple day stop.I highly recommend seeing this site.Good for the whole family, even rover.

The gardens were wonderful! You can walk at your own leisurely pace and take in all of the sites as you wish. All of the staff was very friendly!They do not offer reliable Wi-Fi. It's free to use, but the connection isn't that strong. So if you're going to pay for anything while you're there, bring cash or your card. The Carillon rings melodically every 30 minutes. There is a gift shop that has many of the plants that you see in the gardens for sale. The cafe has a very interesting and fresh menu. Bring plenty of quarters if you would like to feed the fish, you might want to pack some mosquito spray also!! There are plenty of shady areas under trees to lay out on a blanket. You should wear comfortable shoes, as there is a lot of gravel. And if you bring dogs, beware that their paws could get really hot from the asphalt. I would say Bok Tower Gardens is definitely worth your time and money, providing a fun, relaxing, and educational experience for all!

The view overlooking the town is beautiful. I didn't know we had such a view in Florida. Place is nice and quiet. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because gift shop double charged me for an item I purchased. I didn't realize until I got home, 3 hr drive.

Amazing gardens to wander around. Peaceful and relaxing. Make sure you get there for 1:00 pm to hear the recital. You will need 2 to 3 hours to see everything properly. The kids garden is a lot of fun for adults as well. Reasonably priced cafe with friendly staff.

This is a great garden. Take your time to go through the garden and when you reach the tower you are treated with not only the view of the tower, the chimes, but also the beautiful view of the "valley" because the tower is up on a hill. Too bad it's in Polk County, i.e., the only way to get in and out is through the worst part of I-4. Otherwise, we would make it a point to visit it often and become a member. Probably closer, in terms of travel time, for people in Tampa to visit this than anyone in Orlando or even north Brevard County because of I-4.

Absolutely magical experience. If you love plants and nature, do not hesitate to visit Bok Tower Gardens. The landscaping is beautiful, the tower is stunning and the wind whispering through the oak trees around the tower are glorious. The vegetable gardens and kids area are really nice as Well. Plan to stay at least 2 hours or the entire day with a picnic lunch if you can. Pick up lovely plants or items at the nice gift shop on your way home.

Bok Tower Gardens is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. A nice place to grab a blanket and your dog to have a picnic with a good book while the bells toll in the background. Or there is a cafe with a nice outdoor seating area to get together with friends for lunch. Just a nice place to get away from it all for a few hours!

Really awesome place. Fun for all ages. Great displays and very informative. Big outdoor space with lots of things to check out. Some displays you can get into and they have a fun outdoor agility course too. Highly recommend.

I brought my two year old and my 8 year old here. I was able to use a wagon and navigate thru pretty okay. It has lots of gear, weapons, machinery-pretty much everything navy seals use and have used. They show you the changes in equipment over the decades. They have an outdoor obstacle course that the navy seals use. My son had fun. They also had some boats, and other vehicles that you can actually get inside of. There is a small memorial garden honoring fallen seals throughout the different wars. I feel like it’s a bit pricey for what they have and to be honest to allow people to experience history. Adults are $15, children are $7 and toddlers and infants are free.There are a couple of picnic tables you can sit at and snack on. It does say no backpacks or big bags but because I had my son I guess they let me through with them-they didn’t question me.

What a tribute to those who have kept us safe and freedom alive! Weapons, vehicles, and moving stories of heroic sacrifice fill every corner. Modern static and interactive displays. Videos are so well done. Full size Blackhawk Helicopter inside. History spans from early beginnings as training ground right in Fort Pierce for WWII UDT Frogmen to today's SEAL (Sea/Air/Land) Teams. Outside is an amazing collection of boats and displays. Gift shop is well stocked with many mementos for your visit. We took 2 hours and scratched the service. Tickets are so reasonably priced. Don't miss WII beginnings: Normandy Invasion clearing mines and beach fortifications while being shot at and all with "swim trunks and a knife".

This is a must see if you are in the area and I’d say it is even if you have to drive a while. All the items on display here are authentic and not replica which was really cool. Lots of great things to see on display and things to learn. The staff here is great and knowledgeable as well. I learned a lot about the history of the SEALS which was really interesting. I had no idea that they started right in Ft. Pierce. This place is an awesome place to visit. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Leave it to UDT (oh yeah, Seals) to have a museum this awesome. We've visited three times and each time learn something new or discover a display that somehow missed our attention on the previous visit.Make sure to visit on a sunny day as the outside displays (mostly SDVs and watercraft) are worth the walk.The gift store? Just have your credit card at the ready, that's all I have to say about that.

Wife and I were just passing through meandering our way back from Miami and by chance found this place. I will say I was taken aback at the history and the exhibit was amazingly put together and the staff was soooo knowledgeable about every aspect of the navy seal community I didn't want to leave I wanted to stay and learn everything I possibly could but had to get home plus they were closing but I highly recommend seeing this if you wanna know exactly how tough and how great out navy seals are 10 stars isn't enough for this place.

We enjoy exploring lighthouses wherever we go, and we happen to be meeting friends in Jupiter, Florida. They told us about the lighthouse and we definitely had to explore it. Before you enter, they have a plaque that tells you all about the lighthouse. The landscaping is gorgeous very well. Kept the atmosphere was jovial. People were smiling and happy. There was plenty of parking places to sit before or after you visited the lighthouse. as we entered the lighthouse, we discovered that the steps were pretty small and narrow, and it took us forever to get to the top. There was periodic spots where we could stop and rest and also to let other people go down as we were going up. The view from the windows was fabulous . You could see boats and people fishing swimming and having a good time. The sun was shining and the temperature inside the lighthouse was not bad. It was actually comfortable. But the steps, if you have bad knees or bad hips, you might want to reconsider going up them. we made it to the top and we were able to view a magnificent scenery of the entire area. The water was a beautiful color blue and looked very inviting. We were tired when we got to the top, but there was a gentleman up there who I guess was an employee, explained everything about the lighthouse and how it works, and it was pretty fascinating too. I was able to touch a glass mirror, which was the first time I’ve ever done that, and found it very exhilarating to know the history of the thousands of ships that depended on that light to guide them safely.By the time we made it down to the bottom of the lighthouse, our legs were shaking. But, it was great exercise!There were vendors where we could enjoy a cool beverage and snacks. Very well worth the visit. The beach wasn’t far, but that’s another review.I highly recommend you take some time to visit the Jupiter lighthouse. You won’t regret it!

This park is absolutely beautiful and very well kept.The banyan tree is breathtaking!The trails and pier is new with beautiful views.We went into the lighthouse. We are here in February. It is 80° today. We waited about 25 minutes to go up. Not bad at all!There are over 100 steep steps going up with landings for resting. There are also 30+ steps to get to the lighthouse itself so be aware of your ability before you pay the money.The staff is knowledgeable and polite.Definitely recommend!

We loved the Wednesday sunset tour. Our guide was so entertaining and knowledgeable. We loved climbing the circular stairwell to the top. The property is gorgeous!

What a great experience! I've always wanted to go up a lighthouse and finally got to do it here. The history behind the tower and land was very interesting. The views at the top were beautiful. This place is definitely a place you want to visit. I do advise if you are handicapped, have bad knees or ankles or weak legs, you will not be able to make it to the top. It has 105 steps to the top of the ladder plus an additional 30-40 steps to the base of the tower. Parking was free. Restrooms on site. It was hot today so bring drinks because all they sell is water on site.

The attendant as we waited to go to the tower gave us a lot of fun and engaging history behind the lighthouse build out as well as the majestic trees on the property!105 stairs to the top worth the huff and puff lol as the views from the top are priceless! Very well kept grounds and a fun way to spend a Sunday!

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum was a great experience to learn about the history of the area and for its scenic views. The lighthouse climb is accompanied by a walk through the grounds, views of the inlet, and a thorough explanation of the historical significance of the area. There is a $12 fee to enter the grounds and climb the lighthouse. The guided explanation kind of dragged on, as most were eager to just climb the lighthouse for the views. Regardless, it would be a fun experience to bring your family to the lighthouse and take in the views. I recommend this location for a fun afternoon and something "different" to do.

i was confused about the hours because google maps and their website stated different things. BUT i believe their gift shop and the lighthouse itself is accessible Tuesday - Sunday 10am - 4pm. $12/adults, $10 seniors/veterans, $6/kids (free under 6). my niece and nephew (7+9) has a blast! we spent a few hours exploring the lighthouse (105 steps to the top), the small museum, the observation point, the oldest house in palm beach county and the incredible, gigantic tree outside of the lighthouse. all the volunteers/staff were really kind and informative and kept the kids very engaged. i’m happy to have checked this off the list!

We had such a lovely day exploring the Jupiter Lighthouse. There was plenty of parking, a gift shop with a nice selection of souvenirs and lighthouse themed gifts. We bought some delicious fudge that was made by their bookkeeper. The lighthouse is very well maintained. It’s a decent climb with amazing views. We were able to see manatees swimming in the inlet. The museum was very sweet with interesting displays. An enjoyable afternoon.

It was hot out but we made it up the steps. If your in bad shape just take your time and there is a place to rest every 25 steps. It's worth the trip to see the views. I liked it and the one park employee was very knowledgeable. It's a nice place to stop if your in the area. It also has a small museum and a pier. Some of the photos I posted are from the top of the lighthouse.

A wonderful experience! I had the incredible privilege of receiving a one on one tour with Frank, as no one else had shown up for the guided tour at that time. He was absolutely wonderful, the tour itself was very educational, and I can certainly say I'll never misidentify a coffeeberry, sea grape, or cocoplum after today!The lighthouse itself was beautiful, and while climb times may vary, you can honestly make it to the top in less than five minutes, even while stopping at each of the landings. The view and breeze were refreshing, and just getting to glimpse the fresnel lens itself made every step worth it! I highly recommend checking out the Keeper's workshop after the climb down, as the air conditioning really helps in this heat (plus, the exhibit is lovely, and the display and artifacts are fascinating to read about).Honestly, everyone I met who was working that day was very friendly and helpful. If you have some spare time in Jupiter, please check out this historic gem!

Easily accessible from the Main Road US -1, watch for bridge construction, plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles.The Lighthouse and Park were well staffed by friendly employees. The Park was clean. Restrooms were available and clean.There is an admittance Fee to the property but well worth it.There is a nice gift shop. Also if you climb don't forget to get your Certificate.

What a great historical place to visit. The lighthouse itself was super neat to go up and experience. Amazing views from the top. You definitely get a workout climbing up all those steps so make sure you are able to climb a 100 plus stairs. No one under 48inches is aloud to climb. The view is amazing as is the the information they tell you about it. A couple cute museums on the property that make the visit even cooler to see. Very informative staff who give an interactive explanation of how they lived back then and so much more. Would highly recommend not just for vacationers but for locals who have yet to visit it.

My first trip to the area! Parking lot was a bit busy due to soccer games going on nearby but there was still parking available near the lighthouse entrance.Entrance fee is fair. I was there for around 2 hours and got there right when they opened. It wasn't busy at all, maybe 3 other groups when I arrived. I explored the entire property.I climbed the lighthouse twice and spoke with Bob at the top who shared fun knowledge about the surrounding area. He was a pleasure to talk with and I loved that he offers to take your picture on your phone. I'm always solo so I never get a picture of myself that isn't a selfie. I was very thankful for this!Next, I went into the educational workshop. I love to learn about the history of places I'm visiting.I also went and toured the Tindall Pioneer Homestead and spoke with Melanie who is wonderfully amazing. You can tell that she really loves what she does and I felt so happy after speaking with her. She is so knowledgeable about the area and the history of the home. I told her that it smelled like my grandparents house and even spotted some items that I've seen at their house so that made my heart even happier. Since it was my first time in the area, Melanie recommended a few places for me to go. I was able to go to one but now have an excuse to come back to go to the others! If you love learning about the history of the area and just history in general, I recommend stopping by and talking with Melanie, if she is there. I'd go back just to chat with her more. She is an absolute treasure!Overall, I had a wonderful time!

I love history and exploring it!The staff is knowledgeable helpful and friendly. The grounds are very well kept. Probably one of the cleanest lighthouses I've been in, very well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. We went on a Tuesday in February and I was surprised at how busy it was. We waited for about 15/20 minutes to climb the lighthouse in a group of about 10/15 people. It's a smaller lighthouse so the climb really isn't too difficult. The view is amazing at the top too.

Beautiful views from the lighthouse. The ticket could be less than $12,but we had fun climbing all those steps. At the foot of the lighthouse is a huge and amazing banyan tree worth sitting and admiring.

Beautiful lighthouse. They let people in every 20-30 minutes in smaller groups so that it is not so crowed on the top. We are older and have back an knee issues but due to the rest stops every few stairs you can climb at your own pace and it was not difficult for me. There were the initial stairs outside to get to the lighthouse approx 36 then inside there are 103. The staff are extremely friendly and informative. Kids must be a certain height to be allowed to climb.

The grounds are amazing. Great walk to enjoy. The pier goes into the water which is cool. The lighthouse is outstanding. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is a must.

I would highly recommend visiting McCarthys Wildlife Sanctuary during your stay in south Florida! The staff were very knowledgeable and amazing, it’s easy to get to and the grounds were clean and beautiful. Not to mention, the animals seemed very happy and enjoyed us visiting!

It was an amazing experience! I loved seeing and learning about all the animals. The Zookeepers serve as the tour guides and ours was so knowledgeable and loving towards the animals. 10/10 recommend!

Great sanctuary! Things were well organized, plenty of parking just outside the main gate. Our guide was well informed about the different animals, and there was even a chance to get up close and personal in the reptile house. There are restrooms, and a gift shop on site.

What a cool place! Jeremy showed us all the animals around the sanctuary today. He was a wealth of knowledge. So many beautiful critters in such a small space. Watching the big cats was definitely a favorite for me. The snake building was incredible as well.My only suggestion would be some signage on each of the species (like in the snake building) so you can take a picture to remember what each animal was.

My husband and I came here to see all the animals! Jeremy took us on a great tour and genuinely cares about the animals and provided the group with great facts about the individual animals and their species. I would definitely recommend coming here, rather than other places that have wild animals as this place rescues and rehabilitates animals and does what is in the best interest for the animals!

Amazing wildlife refuge. Had such a great time on the tour with Alexis as our tour guide. Very friendly and informative. You get to learn not only about the animals but their individual backstories and how they arrived there. Such a great place. I can't wait till my son turns 5 next you so I can bring him as well. Paw-some! Very informative. Although they have short hours, this is for the benefit of the animals. Members of our party held several different animals, like a kinkajou, turtles, snakes and spiders. This was the closest I ever stood near large cats, lions, jaguar, panther, etc. they also have a liger that I did not know existed.

I reached out to this company on Monday seeking assistance for an animal in need, but unfortunately, I received no response by Wednesday. As an animal lover myself, I believe it is crucial for businesses to have protocols in place for urgent situations involving animals.In my case, the lack of response resulted in the unfortunate passing of a bird that I was caring for. This could have been prevented if the company was more responsive and attentive to emergency situations. Animals require immediate attention and care, and it is disheartening to see such complacency from a service provider.I urge this company to prioritize timely responses and establish clear communication channels for customers in need of urgent assistance. Found this little suburban sanctuary on Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. Tours are only available by calling them direct and only a few days a week at limited times. If you like small group tours, this is for you. The animals are very well cared for, even spoiled and I’m glad they have a place like this they can call home. Definitely a must see in the West Palm Beach area.

Great experience seeing the animals, including a number of big cats. It's not setup like a traditional zoo, so your tour is just a handful of people and you can get very close to the enclosures which makes for excellent photos. Proceeds from tour go to helping care for the animals so it's a great cause as well. They also engage in animal rehabilitation. Highly recommend.

It is a hidden gem, being so close to the big cats was so surreal. Our guide Bianca was very informative. We enjoyed her company very much. They had a lot of snakes, almost every snake 🐍 including rattle snakes and venomous snakes.Turtles, tarantula and other animals which were all saved in some way. That's why it is good to visit it to help pay for the rescued animals.

We took our kid as a birthday gift from family members. We absolutely LOVE IT! Bianca was our tour guide. She was AMAZING! The whole family will enjoy this experience. You learn so much and will see animals that otherwise, you would probably never encounter(like a liger). The stories behind every animal are also so incredible. Bianca is very knowledgeable and kept the visit very fun for all the kids. We got to held and touch different animals.We've been living in the Palm Beach area for years and we didn't know about this place. I'm happy we got to see it. I highly recommend it!

We went to the Lion Safari last Sunday, and it was a beautiful experience. The weather was hot and lovely, making it a perfect day to stay cool in the car while enjoying the many amazing animals. It's a super nice park, but I think they could improve by providing more instructions at the entrance, like how to get the audio guide and how it works. After the tour, we explored the walking park, which has so much to offer — Mini-golf, a waterslide, water park, restaurant, and many other activities. You can easily spend the whole day there. Just wonderful!

We had a great time here. The animals are well cared for and constantly monitored by staff. We didn’t go to the park but we enjoyed the safari so much we went through twice. We were camping at the Lion Country KOA which has discounted tickets and is an added incredible way to enjoy this!

We had such a nice time here with our two young kids. Everything exceeded expectations. The adventure park was exceptionally clean and well staffed. The food was actually really delicious and in a super nice air conditioned space. And the drive through had so many great animals in healthy condition to see with a nice audio tour. The water parks were so much fun for the kids.

My family was visiting from another Country so I took them there and they enjoyed it a lot. The safari is ok, feeding the giraffes is awesome!! If you have little kids you must go there, they have petting zoo, water park, so much to do there. I definitely would add this place to my list of things to do when someone comes to visit us here in Florida.

So amazing. The drive was incredible!! We got there right at opening and we’re one of the first in the park. We followed an employee who was feeding several animals. We drove through herds of antelope. It was spectacular!The inside park was a lot of fun too. Small but really cool.

So many beautiful animals to see! It’s a little pricey but well worth the experience. Took about an hour to navigate through. It does get a little tricky because people sometimes will just stop with no warning and block the whole road so always be alert! They take such good care of the landscape and it’s very scenic.

Was nearly accosted by an ostrich. He held us and everyone in line hostage for nearly 10 minutes before deciding to leave the middle of the road. Amazing experience. 10 out of 10. Saw a baby rhino. Ate dippin dots. Spent like 3 hours looking at animals. I've been here several times throughout my life and this was definitely the most eventful and active animals! I think the trick is to come when it's overcast and windy, they were all out enjoying the weather! Insanely cool.

This visit was surreal! Being in the presence of those beautiful animals in an open setting where they could roam and just enjoy one another was soooo calming to experience. The giraffes were my absolute favorite! I'd recommend the VIP experience... no regrets!!

What a cool time we had! Never did a drive through safari before so I didn’t know what to expect, but we had a blast! Drive took about an hour, and you can stop whenever you want and watch the animals. Saw huge ostriches, rhinos, lions, giraffes, and more. When you’re done with the drive through, they have a smaller zoo that you can walk through with goats, rare birds, alligators, and flamingos. They also have a nice cafe, although the food was basic, it was nice to sit down and have a bite. There is also an extensive children’s section where kids can go on various rides. Well worth the admission price!

We recently did a VIP tour with Kimberly. Myself, my wife and our 7 yr old daughter. I can’t believe the experience we received. Far better than we ever expected. From being inside enclosures and off road with in feet from these beautiful animals.Kimberly was incredibly knowledgeable about all the wild life. We were able to interact/feed and pet many of the animals. My wife loved “Amy”. I was fascinated by the rhinoceros and our daughter loved them all especially feeding the giraffes.I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was such a wonderful and exciting place. We drove our car through an animal reserve park while listening to the radio, giving us details on each section.We got to see all different kinds of animals, get up close and personal. It was so amazing that it made us feel like we were on an actual safari!! You can drive as slow as you like and even pull to the side to watch them. Afterward, we went into the park and enjoyed some refreshments. Then, we spent the rest of the day exploring the park. We feed and pet some of the animals like the giraffes, goats, and birds. They also have a water park area. However, we did not take advantage of that portion of the park!! If you find yourself in the West Palm area, I definitely such you go!!

Would rate it 10 stars if I could. We had such an incredible time. The park is very well kept and the variety of animals is very impressive. Highly highly recommend!

Roads are wide enough with animals on both sides allowing you to stop and watch for as long as you’d like. You can also move to the next exhibit at your own pace. Lions and gorillas are amazing. A beautiful museum filled with a story to tell. It is kept mostly the same as Mr.Flagler left it when he died. Beautiful art and instalation can be seen all around the house. The house is a 2-story house and looks more like a mansion on the water. On our tour, we got an amazing guide that explained all the stories so well that I was in total owe how much I learned from such an amazing day. I would definitely recommend coming to this place and exercising the beauty of the mansion in person. Below, I am sending some pictures from our tour. My favorite one is the godfather clock with Father Time.

Absolutely beautiful and worth visiting, not sure it's worth the entrance fee.That said, I am happy a place like this has higher fees so THAT supports it more than public funds.It is incredible to see the work and craftilsmanship as well as hear the history.The tour was awesome, though we had to jump in on our own because they had just gone into the first room and the option we were given ion entrance was to join a new tour later.We absolutely enjoyed this since the weather and date meant many other places were closed. And there is DEFINITELY plenty to see.It's also... a $30 museum.

This place is top notch! Do your research about the Flagler's before you come to fully appreciate their legacy in the Gilded Age. There is a small history room in the mansion, but that area was packed! Otherwise, we loved the home. It was $18, including a headset. It's grandeur is out of this world!!!

A really stunning museum. The details in this house are truly overwhelming. There is also an audio tour to go with it. The mansion is on the water and the view from his house is beautiful. In the glass building/ conservatory there also one of his train cars. Definitely check this place out. A level of opulence that one very rarely sees.

Architecture inside and outside, friendly staff, setup, gardens and its views is to step into an Era and take a peak into history of affluence.The locomotive carriage gives us a peak into bygone days of luxury, elegance and comfort.The gift store also is neat to visit with unique quality gift ideas.Thanking the director for the hospitality towards myself and my friend so we could see the locomotive which we had missed on an earlier visit due to a musical show, held on their premises.Honorable act from the staff.

Very beautiful mansion which worth a stop. The parking is free but the entrance fee is $26 per adult which includes an audio book which has a lot of good information about the house. We especially liked the entryway and the ballroom. Theres also great views from the back of the house and an event space with some amazing windows with pretty neat train car you can go in.

It’s a wonderful place to visit, absolutely perfectly kept.I took my husband and I almost 2 hours, we truly enjoyed and took our time to observe every detail in each room.

It’s not so many people there during weekdays. Amazing Palace to visit. The museum is offering self-guided tours. Henry Morison had a great and lasting impact on a state in Florida. He built Whitehall for his third wife, Mary Lily Kenan. The Architecture was designed in the Beaux Arts style, each room is different style, the garden is magnificent fantastic.

A must visit you feel like you are in Europe. Absolutely stunning. Make sure you do the FREE tour so worth the explanation. I will be back for when they decorate for the holidays.

This home (mansion) converted into a museumesk environment is filled with beautiful historical memorabilia. Henry Flagler's rich history dwells in his home for one to see. Scenic waterfront property. The admission fee is a little pricey. Audio self tour is worthwhile and is included. Wheelchair accessible. Bathroom facilities. Elevator available. Gift shop, no snacks. Very helpful and friendly staff. It was an enjoyable two hours well spent.

Beautiful property. We spoke to the women in the gift shop for a while. They were knowledgeable and friendly. The quality of items throughout the museum, whether it be carpet, paintings, chandeliers, or furniture, are top notch. Well worth the entrance fee.

Tasteful, entertaining look into the life of rich white people in the 1900s (this house was wedding gift to Flagler’s 3rd wife, they used it 6 weeks a year). Audio guide was good, there are tours 3 times a day. Policy says no backpacks- we cycled and I wish we would have brought water and rain jackets with us- you can check bags at the front desk at no cost. Tea room closed seasonally.

We went there on hot Sunday, and were surprised that not a lot of people were there.It is very nice to explore more about Mr. Flagler and see how he was living and where he enjoyed his last years of life.Very educational for our 7 years old son . He was listening almost a whole tour looking at objects discussed on a self given tour. Especially rail road cabin, that was built for Flagler family.Highly recommended for all ages.

The self guided audio tour (which is included in admission) really enhances the experience and allows visitors to double click into aspects of gilded age and South Florida history based on your interests - I loved hearing more about social customs of the time. Some might enjoy the detail on specific antiques and art in each room. The grounds are also lovely, and I noticed they do a high tea - will definitely be back for that!

If you're looking for an experience that combines historical immersion with stunning views, look no further than the Henry Flagler Museum. It's more than just a museum; it's a journey through time.

I could have easily spent 5 hours learning the details about this spectacular home, it's owners and it's history. I am so happy it was not demolished and instead, preserved for future generations to appreciate.

Rich in history. Right on the water. Visited on Founders Day so entry was free for everyone. Beautiful architecture. Every room in that museum is different from the other. The only thing to improve on is that they give you a map to follow but the rooms you go to aren't often do not have signs telling you which room you are currently in.

This is an outstanding historical venue! The Flagler Museum is a great way to learn about Henry Flagler, founder of Standard Oil, and the man who pretty much built Florida. Time period is the Gilded Age (1870's to 1890's) when economic growth, industrialization, and immigration were at all time highs. This is the time when electricity was ramping up as well.Admission includes a nifty, hand-held audio tour-wand device that describes most things in the house. You can also download the presentation to your phone and play through your ear buds. You can also sign up for a docent-led tour.It's a great story! I highly recommend that you do the self-guided tour and give yourself time to soak it all in!

I really enjoyed my visit today, but there are a few things visitors need to know:1) they are currently working on several galleries upstairs (Dec 12, 2023) and have blocked part of the area normally open to visitors. Because of this, you have to use the elevator to access the back rooms and bicycle exhibit, and use the stairs to access the front bedrooms and exhibits. The height of the first floor ceiling means climbing 1 1/2 flights of stairs. If you have health or mobility restrictions I would suggest checking with the museum to see when the entire floor can be accessed by the elevator.2) While the cafe does offer “picnic boxes” to eat on the grounds, they do not offer anything that is gluten free and visitors are not allowed to bring in their own food and drink.3) The lighting in many of the rooms is very dim, especially on the ground floor, and can be a challenge for anyone with impaired vision to enjoy what’s being displayed.Overall, the mansion is amazing. A true American Palace, with lavish and ornate detailing on every floor, wall, and ceiling. Then there’s the furniture and artwork which is all that an apparently endless supply of money can buy. I visited in December while the mansion was decorated for the holidays, but the splashes of red and green were subdued by the extravagance of the home itself. I’m very glad I made the trip, and would highly recommend this historic treasure to anyone else.

This mansion has beautiful architecture and is built in a spectacular location right on the water. The museum is rich with history. It was amazing to learn how interconnected railroads were to development of Florida and how Henry Flagler was such a huge influence in Florida.

Loved this museum with all of the amazing artwork and sculptures! I also really enjoyed looking at all of the glasses and place settings. They were very unique and varied. The staff was very friendly and the audio guide was great.

Took a trip to the Flagler Museum over Memorial Day Weekend. We opted to take the guided tour through the mansion. The docent gave an informative guide through the rooms on the ground floor. Each room served a unique purpose and was decorated in a specific style to serve that purpose as well as to reflect the Flagler’s wealth.The docent explained that the mansion’s rooms and furnishings were still being restored. The main dining room contains the only complete satinwood set piece which will eventually be returned to their original splendor.The highlight was the Kenan Pavilion which houses Henry Flagler’s private rail car #91 in a climate controlled environment. The car can no longer be used in service due to its wooden construction.This is a must see for visitors to Palm Beach to see the winter home of one of the men responsible for making Florida the state that it is today.

Beautiful place!Admission is cheap at 15$ per person. If it is your first time, tell the lady at the front and they may get you in for free or reduced price! Also student discounts, just show Id or portal .They have different events like a 5$ tea ceremony observation which is incredible to witness.The grounds are huge, perfect for a date or family outing!!The outdoor food has a great selection (I had the takoyaki and it was delicious). Plenty of Japanese food and beverage options.Staff is all incredibly kind and courteous! Well worth the drive here.

This place is stunningly beautiful. My wife and I decided to have our wedding here and we are so happy we did. Firstly and most surprisingly the location is very affordable to reserve as a venue. Secondly we worked with Alanna for nearly every aspect of the wedding and she made sure everything was perfect. The staff had everything set up beautifully and did amazing work the day of the wedding. The location can handle both an indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception. They have a list of vendors that they have worked with before and I would highly recommend using them. The food was spectacular as they have their own food service that you would use. The variety of the food options were amazing and during the food tasting we had a hard time deciding between some of the items. Highly recommend for anyone else looking for a venue for their wedding.

The gardens are absolutely stunning, with winding paths, beautiful ponds, and traditional Japanese landscapes that make you forget you’re in Florida for a moment. It’s super peaceful and perfect for a leisurely stroll.The museum itself is small but packed with interesting exhibits about Japanese culture and history. I really liked how the indoor experience complemented the serenity of the gardens outside. Whether you’re into Japanese culture or just looking for a beautiful spot to relax, this place is definitely worth a visit. Plus, the little café has some tasty snacks and tea!

We were there for a few hours walking around the whole property. They hosts many events and festivals throughout the year. The park is on 188.5 acres; there is a playground, gardens, picnic areas, and playground. The museum has a tea house, classrooms, library, theater, gift shop, and cafe.We enjoyed the peaceful walk through the park. There's so many things to look at. The grounds were meticulously cared for with attention to detail. You really feel like you are in Japan. The food at the cafe was good too. I do recommend wearing sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses since it's hot and sunny in most areas. Definitely a must see if you are in the area!

We have been meaning to visit the garden for many years and are so glad we finally did. It was beautiful, well maintained and tells an incredible story about how the garden came into existence from land owned and donated by a grateful Japanese immigrant who loved his adopted country. This is one of the best garden tours. Do not hurry through your visit. Allow yourself time to take it all in. There are so few peaceful and calm places like this. It’s a true gift to o be experienced in peace and calm. The exhibits were very colorful and intriguing.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Learning the story behind Morikami, made it even more meaningful. You can’t help but feel a sense of peace while there. Take your time and really look at all the details. Turtles everywhere. Saw a gator and an armadillo! The only thing I would change is more water stations. The carved bamboos were also so pretty to see. Definitely worth the visit.

We always love to come here, especially for their exhibits and to spend some quality time with nature. Hugging trees, listening to the birds, and watching wildlife. Rubbing the buddhas belly. Perfect place to meditate and connect with the universe ✨️

I went last weekend to Morikami Museum Gardens and Japanese Gardens and I would say it’s definitely a staple of Palm Beach County to visit. The ticket was only 14$ since there is construction but I truly didn’t see any along the stroll of the museum and gardens. The gardens is the majority of the area with the museum being on the “Island” and I enjoyed the museum because it covered topics about Japanese Internment and Delray Beach’s beginnings. I would recommend to install A.C. machines in there or portable A.C. units because it was so hot in the museum. Don’t forget to stop by the exhibition that they have in the main entrance building. It was a really interesting exhibit about ethnicity and what it means to be ask “What are you?”

A great place to visit and unwind for a couple hours. Paths lead through various gardens representing different traditional eras of design. Every tree, rock, and plant has been carefully placed in alignment with design principles. In the center is a traditional Japanese Tea house with bonsai, miniatures and historical displays. Cafe is great, reasonably-priced spot to get Sushi and other Japanese dishes. There's a side gallery near the entrance with jewelry and these amazing wooden dolls displayed. A great visit!

Morikami is an excellent place to visit, I suggest you give yourself enough time there to sit down in one of the several benches that they have through the garden, enjoy the view, and relax. If you meditate, I think this is an excellent place to do it too. It is quiet and people are respectful of that.The food here is excellent and not expensive at all! I had the fried chicken and was amazing.

Exceeded expectations! Not only were the gardens beautiful but the history of how the gardens were founded and the Japanese colony that existed in the area was enriching. The trail around the gardens is a great length. We spent about two leisurely hours there. Highly recommend!

Awesome place. Much larger than it appears upon entry. Wear sneakers, sunblock and bring a fan. Use the restroom before you start the trail/gardens, There are no restrooms long the trail/gardens. Lots of benches to sit and reflect so if you like to journal or read This is a great place for that. I recommend doing the gardens first in the early part of the day. Halfway through, There is a traditional Japanese building with an indoor air conditioned area with art on the walls and a short video about the history. It's a nice break from the outside heat. Complete the trail/gardens, Then do the inside doll and art display to cool off. They also have a theater which displays a short video about the history. They also have a beautiful cafe area where they sell refreshments cafe food and ice cream. There's a gift shop and it looks like you can take a tea class that teaches you how to have a traditional tea ceremony, complete with traditional Japanese attire. We spent about 2.5 hours and did everything. If we had eaten at the cafe it probably would have been about 3.5. Admission is affordable at $16 per adult. What an awesome way to spend a beautiful Florida Sunday.

We really liked this place. It was a very interesting look into the history of Japanese immigrants in Florida. The gardens are beautiful and the displays inside the museum were quite nice. They also sell food and beverages in the restaurant. It's a great place to go if you want to avoid some of the crowded tourist spots.

I recently visited the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens and was absolutely captivated by the serene beauty of the place. The gardens are meticulously maintained and offer a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the establishment is handicapped accessible, making it a welcoming destination for all visitors. They also offer military discounts.One suggestion I have for improvement is to have bathrooms available halfway through the walk instead of only at the end for those of us with disabilities. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more shaded resting spots with spray fans for humid days. Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend wearing bug spray to ward off mosquitoes, especially during the warmer months.Overall, my experience at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens was truly unforgettable, and I can't wait to visit again in the future.

I had an amazing time. I brought my mother there for Mother's Day. We laughed and joked with the cashier. We arrived rather late, and the woman at the information table gave us a map and informed us of the best route to take. The museum is neat, clean, and full of history. The trail outside is well kept. We saw rabbits and squirrels playing. I definitely recommend it.

So so pretty, the garden is wonderful with so many paths, ponds and bridges, and little sculptures. It feels very peaceful, if I lived close by would get a membership. They also have an indoor museum with exhibits that are updated periodically, and a café which serves pretty good Asian food, with a lot of options. You can also sign up for a traditional tea ceremony but that has to be done in advance.

We also enjoyed a visit to the small cafeteria, which provided a pleasant spot to rest.Do note that the weather can be quite humid, so it’s advisable to dress comfortably and stay hydrated during your visit. Despite the humidity, the beauty and tranquility of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens make it a must-visit destination.

We had an amazing experience at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center! The combination of beautiful natural surroundings, interactive exhibits, and a strong focus on conservation makes this place truly special. Such a beautiful park, with an incredibly informative and kind staff. Completely worth the visit if you have the chance. Tons of baby hatchlings to see, rescue tortoises, and beautiful aquarium displays.

Lovely nature center free to the public (suggested donations only). Learn about and witness the amazing wildlife in their care. Two nature trails offer a wild variety of plant and wildlife. Watch your head for spiderwebs! Jacob’s lookout is worth the climb, handicap accessible as well.

This was originally presented as a field trip like experience when bringing kids to the area, but I think my mother in law and I had way more fun than our 11 year old. Facilty was very clean and had employees at every station making sure we didn't miss anything! Very informative and friendly staff. We could have spent the entire day here. The scavenger hunt forced us to slow down and really take everything in, very thankful for that! I've honestly never seen such a young group of employees so genuinely excited to share knowledge and engage visitors!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Located between Palmetto and Spanish River, this nature center is just amazing.Give credit to all the volunteers and donors that keep this place so organized, nice and clean, and of course free for everyone to enjoy .Due to its location parking could be busy at times.If you enjoyed it, maybe a small donation is worth it.

Great place to bring your family and friends. Not a lot of animals in the property but the trail and gift shop makes up for it. It is under construction at the moment, some of the trail was partitioned off. Can’t wait to go back and see the new changes

A nature center worth recommending. There are big turtles, many tropical fish, and tropical rainforests behind. It is a good place for all ages. In particular, there is no charge here, and even parking is free. It is rare in the coastal area of Florida.

Great place to visit with kids, to learn about sea life and have fun for a couple of hours.The boardwalk is a great experience to get into the natural Floridian vegetation (don't know if you can call it a forest).The fish tanks are great because they have big windows where kids can enjoy the experience. I recommend to visit just before midday, because the feed the fishes at 12:30.The Florida Atlantic University have a lab there, where you can learn about the life circle of sea turtles.There is also a butterfly garden with a path where kids can run around (there are some mosquitos so be aware).

I participated in the Intracoastal Seine Net Catch and Release Adventure this morning! Highly recommend for nature lovers of any age! So cool! Interesting, educational, chill, fun!

This little gem is a must-see if you love marine life! Gumbo Limbo has several aquariums filled with fish, sea horses, sting rays, and even an eel. They have a butterfly garden and a sea turtle research center. There is an outdoor forest trail with a new observation tower. The grounds are well maintained, and admission is free. Parking can be challenging on the weekends, but there is a lot next door with parking meters ($3 an hour).

A wonderful place for exploration, learning and making friends with the fish! Love the giant aquariums, spotting butterflies, plants and turtles! Fascinating place to learn about the eco-system around!

Was a really nice place, lots of fish and animals to see, a nature walk with many plants. I will say it's hard to find a parking spot so you have to either get there early or drop off your crew and wait till one opens up. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly!

Free nature center with boardwalk trails, a viewing tower, and fabulous tanks filled with local marine life which has been rehabilitated. Lots of info and super helpful volunteers with turtle rehab tanks and a butterfly garden .

Definitely worth a visit! Learn a lot about native Florida and sea turtles. Not a lot of parking due to construction plus the weekend. Restrooms very clean. Staff extremely attentive, welcoming. We loved doing the scavenger hunt. Our little one left with a surprise gift after finishing. Overall we had a great time. We spent approx. 1 hour there - two adults and 7 year old.

This place is a free gem. A quick walk across A1A from the Atlantic Ocean. The aquatic nature center is Interesting and informative for kids, adults and seniors. Fish of all sizes and species are freely swimming in large aquarium tanks or pools. Small seahorses and other aquatic life are on display in an indoor lab. Students from the FAU School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS) are available to answer questions. It was a windy day when I visited, so there was no activity in the butterfly area.

This was our 3rd visit here. The place is so beautiful! There’s so much nature and wildlife to see. We went early and were treated with several banana spiders, orb Weavers, crabs,woodpecker and a raccoon on the trail.The nature center itself is so well kept, beautiful sea life to enjoy.The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. We learn so much every time.

Nice little Center. Easy to navigate around for about 60-90 minutes tops. Good selection of fish and 2 turtles. Nice outside Butterfly area with no nets to restrict their activity.Construction seems to be taking up some parking.Best Part….FREE.

Visited Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton and loved it. The sea turtle rehab area is fantastic, and the fish tanks with colorful marine life are mesmerizing. Perfect for nature enthusiasts. Highly recommend!
